i’m not really all that good at drawing animals let alone horses so this sketch was kinda tough lol, i’m very proud of the outcome tho! the process was also so fun so i included the timelapse! (you’ll have to excuse the other doodles- i was struggling to draw haha)
So with Belos in Digsea since it kinda plays by his rules he could carven out a temporary niche. Belos could carve out a temporary niche as a shadowy power broker, advisor, or cult leader in a mid-tier Netherworld or Evil Academy. He might trick a faction into a coup, drain some mana to boost himself, and cause real drama (e.g., destabilizing an Overlord election). But sustaining long-term control like on the Boiling Isles? Very unlikely. The moment he tries to pull the big lever (mass draining, fake prophecy endgame), protagonists or rival Overlords would crush it — and probably find the whole scheme hilarious. And you have to remember his opponents were kinda small here he’s dealing with alot from everyone so he’d def. Be more on tense on what he can do and such.
I’d like to think Belos would be disappointed by the motives for the demons in terms of how they just do whatever in what they want
