Finally getting this piece into a wood kiln. While I was working on my body cast pieces I realized that those pregnancy casts people charge an arm and a leg for are nothing but plaster wrap and really aren’t a casting. They are the mold and don’t show the true beauty of the body. I decided I wanted to do a pregnancy belly cast right, really do it justice. Only took a couple of years to find a willing pregnant friend. ❤️ Mitchell and I took a cast of my belly this week at 38 weeks pregnant. With only 11 more days until Aurora’s due date, I’ve been taking a lot of time just reflecting and being mindful and appreciating the current norm I can’t wait to hold my little.
