RIP Chuck Yeager. In 1947, aged just 24, Yeager broke the sound barrier in his experimental Bell X-1 aircraft in the skies above the Mojave Desert, California. RIP Chuck Yeager! A miniature of the Bell X-1 he flew when he broke the sound barrier in 1947. This display comes from the Proud Bird restaurant before it was remodeled.
Album covers have no limitations in terms of design. One that I find especially memorable is Bell X1′s Arms. It combines unique typography and a blend of illustration fused with gradient colour. I feel I could find something new every time I look at it. For me it evokes a nostalgic and bittersweet feeling; which fits perfectly with Bell X1′s musical style on the album.
