It’s been kind of a rough week IRL, so I’m really thankful for all the great Sketchbook art/stories I’ve seen this week ^_^

So, I humbly present my take on a childhood friends AU in which Johanna keeps her memories and becomes somewhat of a local legend.

“They say you can hear a child weeping in the woods of Tofoten. Some say it’s a ghost, taken from the world too soon, other a fairy child, left behind by her kin,”

And thus a young Kaisa and Bell Keeper venture into the woods to investigate, only to find a wild half fairy, and Kaisa is instantly smitten.

Side note: the bottom image was originally meant to be Johanna, Kaisa, Bell Keeper, and Gerda only, but I was playing off the trans headcanons I’ve seen some people write for BK and tried for a look before he came out, but I ended up loving the design too much to erase, so now he has a twin sister XD
