the smell of friendship
seira needed friends, she’d been made aware of that. she hadn’t really realized how much she lacked friends till her group disbanded, they went their different ways, and she realized, for a while she’d only hung out with them. her old members were still her friends, but now they were busy, once they’d been busy together, now they were all busy on their own. seira had decided not to return to japan, but that meant staying in korea and figuring out what she wanted. did she want to try her luck at being an idol again? should she hope her songwriting career would take off? maybe she should start school again?
for now she was a barista, and though it was temporarily, it was nice, she got to see new faces, her colleagues and costumers. she still wasn’t a fan of the smell of coffee, but it was nice having something to pass time with. she looks at the clock, she’s soon free, ready to go home and… do nothing, like almost every other day. a familiar costumer walks in, she greets him with a smile and wave “hey jun!” and that’s when she decides on something.
they haven’t hung out before, they’ve had some small-chat, greeting each other whenever he steps into the cafe. “what you wanna order today?” she sends a smile before giving herself the courage to continue talking, “it’s actually the end of my shift, if you’re not too busy… would you wanna try hanging out?”.
sending it to... @bejun
