Hi hello I been thinking about the aftermath of FCW and I realized something:
We were robbed of a Dean Ambrose villain storyline. I don't mean a heel turn, I mean a villian.
Hear me out: Dean vs William II ended in a no contest right? Which means in Dean's eyes he never truly got what he wanted from William, what he wanted all along; his pride, closure, that win hanging over his head.
I have a theory that in the second half of the match William threw the whole thing purpose to fuck with Deanbecause their fued was meant to have lasted longer, but that's a different thing.
Anyway, the point is Dean's stuck living with the fact he never truly beat William, and it's eating him alive. From NXT to the Shield, he's holding something back, holding himself back from truly losing it. But it's always there, just under the surface. Little things. Distancing himself from the group, maybe ambushing someone so badly even Roman and Seth struggle to pull him off of them.
What causes him to snap and succumb to the same rage he had against William?
Seth turning on the Shield.
From then on (until an enevitable face turn) Dean Ambrose is fueled and has come to the same rage he had in his fued with William. The pain of losing, his past, Seth, all combined to turn him into an absolutely ruthless villian.
