Belthaine, per i pagani è l'inizio dell'estate ☀️e si celebra il primo maggio ed é una delle principali festività del neo paganesimo, ha origine celtica ma non tutti i popoli celtici la celebravano. La festa iniziava la notte del 30 aprile (notte di Valpurga) e si protraeva per una o più settimane. Per i piromanti🔥 Belthaine rappresenta oltre che l'inizio dell'estate una festa legata a Kawabel⚡️, tradizionalmente il piromante attende la festa 6 settimane prima a partire dal 20 marzo, giornata chiamata anti-Belthaine (esattamente 6 settimane prima della festa) e in giornate chiamate Tine Belthaine che sono rispettivamente 5, 4, 3, 2 e 1 settimane prima di Belthaine, in queste giornate è tradizione intrecciarsi i capelli una volta per ogni giornata per arrivare alla festa con 6 trecce. Altra tradizione è quella di, durante l'ultimo martedì prima di Belthaine, raccogliere una foglia frastagliata🍁 e conservarla per bruciarla 🔥durante la festa del prossimo anno, questo si fa solo se la giornata è ventosa🌬

Come si festeggia? Come si vuole, in compagnia o da soli non ha importanza, ciò che conta è accendere un falò🔥, un fuocherello🔥 o una candela🕯, si può organizzare grandi feste🎉🍻 oppure qualcosa di più mediocre😐, i piromanti tradizionalmente festeggiano la notte di Valpurga🐁 stando in compagnia e la festa di Belthaine🔥 festeggiando bevendo e ballando attorno un falò per poi cenare🍗la sera e concludere la festa all'alba del primo sole d'estate☀️. La festa è generalmente dedicata a Cernunnos 🦌o alla divinità che più preferite o ritenete opportuna.
