Christmas is 10 days away. Christmas is... ten days away? And I've barely seen any of the movies this year, because I've been too busy Watchung other stuff or dealing with congestion or whatever. I...wow. Great. This is great. It definitely doesn't make me feel the weight of time and the stressed feeling again. No. I swear I even reblogged more Christmassy stuff here in years prior, and now I haven't done that. I don't get it.
I feel weird now. I think my existenalism is getting bad again. I'm also now stuck in my head wondering if I've written down all the things I've wanted to write down. Did I write something about how awkward I get sharing stuff with people and opening up to them? I think I did, but was it on here or in my notes app or both? I...I don't remember.
I don't love knowing that Christmas is now ten days away, because now everything feels way too fast and I don't even remember everything on my Christmas list. If it's books, I don't know if I'll be able to read at home. If it's DVDs, I'll have to watch them with my dad and deal with that slight awkwardness I always have sharing with people. And video games...well, we'll see if I can play them without getting frustrated. My pessimism is apparently in full force now.
But yeah, I'm shocked it's all so soon. I'm nervous, because I think this means it's only ten days until my poppy comes down. And I'm still scared his girlfriend's gonna push me to talk to my Nana. sigh...

Oh my god, please, PLEASE read When the Sunlight Dies by @marianne-dash-wood and @personalized-radio. All of the Scarecrow series is incredible, but WtSD and it's sequel, Can't Find My Way Home are sooo perfect in every way shape and form. The kind of fic that left Lock and I fantasizing for weeks and weeks afterwards. Beautifully written, paced, and amazing characterizations not just for KSQ but for everyone adjacent to them.
We've said it before, but MJ and Hannah were huge inspirations for Lock and I when we decided to write TAMN. In a very like "I wanna do what they did" we set out to write TAMN for the sole purpose of holding it in book form one day and putting it on our shelves next to our copies of WtSD :"D
