Today I saved a wasp from drowning when I went swimming and I stayed to make sure no one tried to put it back in the pool/it didnβt need to be moved to a safer place
I watched it clean its face and wings repeatedly which admittedly was kind of cute
and after about 10 minutes after it flew away it came back to visit
first it was just sitting on my towel staring at me and on the one hand thatβs very sweet and on the other as someone who is terrified of bees and wasps it was deeply unsettling
Then it brought one of its wasp friends over and I had two wasps on me and I didnβt like that
Then about SEVEN WASPS were just kind of buzzing around me in like a wasp vortex and then a carpenter bee landed on me and I screamed cuz it was as long as my pointer finger
and Iβm standing there like about to cry but I have to keep reminding myself that the wasp was showing gratitude!!! and I am actually glad the wasp was okay even though I am generally terrified of them!!!
