Description:Â Eddieâs tired, heâd even go so far as to say exhausted. But, articles donât write themselves.AKA: Eddie needs sleep and Venom is a big cuddle-bug.
Eddie lets out a shaky breath, his shoulders slumping for the first time all day, muscles sore and raw from holding too much tension.
He can feel the liquid warmth of Venom, slipping around his middle, up his back and shoulders, just under his Tee. It feels good, truthfully. The touch is far from foreign, instead comforting and close. His own hands on his skin feels more strange than Vâs ever present touches and hum, like a tiny vibration at the base of Eddieâs skull. The symbiote become quickly grounding, a familiar presence that Eddie isnât quite sure what heâd do without.
Relax.
âYeah, yeah,â Eddie breathes, rubbing his eyes until his vision dances with tiny spots.
more.
Eddie huffs. âDonât be so bossy,â he mumbles, pulling his hands away from his face and letting his vision come back into focus. His laptop is open in front of him in the same place its been all day. The document blinks in front of him, taunting, and Eddie lets out a defeated groan, slouching over and into his desk. âThis is shit.â
Take a break.
âCanât.â
Eddie feels the way Venom bristles unhappily under his skin, the possessive wrap of his slender, black tendrils pulling a bit tighter at his chest.
Rest. Weâre tired.
Eddie sighs. âYeah, and we have a lot to do still. This thing isnât writing itself.â
The assignment was stupid from day one. Eddie half suspects he was given the article simply because no one else wanted it. He wasnât at the highest ranks as of late. The people heâd interviewed were dull and shared no real quote worthy information. When he tried to edge that there wasnât a real story there, his higher up laughed and shrugged. âThatâs media, kid.â Heâd said around a forkful of his salad.
So yeah, Eddieâs tired of the article and the job and staring at a practically blank screen as the clock continues to tick off minutes to his deadline.
You donât like it.
âItâs still my job,â Eddie reminds, running a hand through his hair as he looks over what little he has written.
we hate it.
Eddie snorts. âOnly sometimes, V. Only sometimes.â
He feels it thrum against his skin, a tiny vibration that he can feel in his bones and nerves. Almost like a purr.
we can write later, Eddie. We can relax now.
Eddie doesnât even flinch when he feels the slender line of one of Venoms tendrils snake up his neck from under the collar of his shirt. It expands and comes to cradle his head, only making him aware of the dull ache behind his eyes.
âI gotta finish this, love,â Eddie tries lamely but Venomâs past listening to his sad excuses.
we take care of Eddie. Make you feel better.
Venom slowly expands and warps around him and in the end itâs almost like a hug. His body is cocooned in the soft silk of Venoms hold and itâs instantly relaxing, intoxicating. Eddie could get lost in it.
âYeah, I know,â Eddie says, eyes fluttering. Every inch of skin and muscle Venom touches turns to jelly under him, pliant and lazy. âAlways so good to me, arenât ya?â
we like when you are happy, Eddie.
It says and even with the drawn growl, it sounds sweet, almost like a coo. Eddie smiles.
âyeah?â
Yes.
âLike it when youâre not bitinâ heads off,â Eddie comments, slouching back in his chair as thereâs a gentle stroke to the side of his face where his stubble is starting to grow out.
why? The heads are good. Very good. We like the heads, Eddie.
Eddie wrinkles his nose and cracks an eye open to see Venoms face, formed clearly in front of him, coming easily from under the collar of his shirt and around his chest. Thereâs a tilt to Venoms head that makes it look like a confused puppy.
âYeah, I know, I know,â Eddie chuckles and Venom swipes the tip of its tongue across its teeth. âTrust me, I know.â
they make such good snapping sounds-
âOkay, okay, more than enough, thank you!â Eddie grimaces and Venom grins, teeth glittering in the light of his laptop.
we can eat your boss. No more stupid articles.
âWeâve been over this,â Eddie sighs, though thereâs a lazy grin spreading across his face anyways.
Why.
âBecause, heâs not bad,â Eddie says with a shrug. âJust... kind of a dick.â
we have eaten dicks before too.
Eddie chokes, eyes flying open to glance up at the face thatâs formed to hover over him, white teeth glimmering. Eddieâs too scared to ask what heâs referring too.
âYeah- uh, well, I donât like it. Even when they do deserve it.â
you dislike it but you let us anyways, right Eddie?
Eddie shrugs. Itâs not really something he thinks about. In fact, itâs something heâs been really focused on not thinking about. The less time he spends thinking about the people he helps and allows to be killed and eaten, no matter how bad they are- is better for his already very bad mental health. âYou need it.â
Venom hums, making Eddieâs body vibrate. Itâs warm and Eddie slumps comfortably. His laptop falls asleep and Eddie canât find it in him to care.
Yes. You take care of us too, right Eddie? You are kind. But We need you too.
âI know, V. Need you too,â Eddie chuckles, reaching up to run his fingers gently along the line of Venoms face.
Venom presses his head against Eddieâs cheek, similar to a cat seeking attention.
You are Happy? it growls, inquisitive.
âHuh? Oh, yeah, I guess so,â Eddie smiles.
good. Then it is working.
âWhat is?â He asks, smiling dumbly still.
Our plan. Help you relax.
Eddie just chuckles and lets venom hold him in the makeshift hug, faces pressed together. He Lets his stress and tension leach from his body until he feels calm enough he could slip to sleep if he wanted.
âYouâre pretty good at it,â Eddie admits and venom purrs lowly in response.
We take care of our host, Eddie. You are a good host.
âYeah, Iâm pretty great,â Eddie grins and Venom lets a tendril cover his mouth to stop the teasing. Eddie just smiles.
Bed.
âYeah, Yeah, okay,â Eddie sighs, too comfortable in his seat, snuggled up to Venom to really care. âBed it is.â
Venom trills, almost excitedly, and easily scoops Eddie up, moving them from the table to their bed in a fluid movement that only takes a couple of seconds. Venom dips Eddie into the bed and tugs the covers up with a tendril.
Eddie yawns, smiling as he pulls the blankets closer to himself. âV?â Eddie asks as Venom slowly retracts back into his skin, settling somewhere at the base of his skull.
Yes?
âYou uh- you wanna stay, tonight?â Eddie asks, a little awkwardly. Thankfully, Venom knows Eddieâs mind better than himself and heâs apparently not in the mood for teasing, so instead the Symbiote just growls thoughtfully and forms around Eddie again, mostly from behind, like an awkward spoon.
like this, Eddie? venom asks, head hovering over the side of Eddieâs face that isnât buried in pillows.

You stood at the top of the Astronomy tower, your best friend had sent you a letter via owl just a few hours prior, telling you to meet him at the top of the Astronomy tower at 7PM.
Your figure was enveloped in darkness, a cold wind whipped around your face as you glanced down at the Quad, watching as people rushed into the castle wanting to get inside before curfew. Professor Snape and a few Deatheaters had taken over the school ever since Dumbledore had tragically fallen to his death just a year or so prior. You glanced up at the darkening sky, watching the clouds rolling in. Something settled in the deepest pit of your stomach, almost like a knot tightening, you sensed something was coming but what it was? You werenât sure. Something bad was going to happen, you could sense it. It was a gut feeling but your gut feelings had never been wrong in your whole seventeen, almost eighteen, years of life. Draco was just a month shy of turning eighteen, and you? It would be your eighteenth birthday in just a few months.
You soon heard footsteps on the stairs behind you, approaching you. You glanced over your shoulder, seeing the bleached blonde hair of your best friend, his slender figure headed towards you, he was dressed in black from head to toe. âYouâre late.â You stated, checking your watch for the time. It was 7:20PM.
âIâm sorry. I got caught up, and didnât want anybody seeing me come here.â He told you, his eyes scanning the area below, watching students and professors alike scurrying inside from the darkening sky.
âWhatâs with the secrecy, Draco? Why canât you be seen?â You questioned.
âPeople would have issues with me being here, especially my father. I canât be seen, but I needed to see you.â He told you, his pale fingers lifting to tuck a strand of hair behind your ear. His hand lingered at the side of your cheeks for a moment longer before dropping back to his side. âI know my letters havenât made much sense recently. I know theyâve been more like stupid riddles and Iâm sorry for that.â His voice seemed to be remarkably softer than youâd heard before.
âD, talk to me. Whatâs going on?â You questioned, lifting your hands and cupping his cheeks, your eyes staring into his light grey ones. His eyes searched yours, a soft breath leaving his mouth before he turned to move away from the window, away from you. Your brows furrowed in confusion, your hand dropping back to your sides as you watched him. He paced slightly, his back still facing towards you.
âYou have to go while you still have the chance. You have to run away.â He warned, not meeting your gaze.
Your brows knitted together, âRun away from what?â You threw your hands up. You were tired of his endless riddles. Tired of his endless attempts at avoiding you. Couldnât he tell that you loved him? Couldnât he tell that you would do anything for him?
âFrom me.â He whispered. His tone was barely audible. âYou have to run away from me.â
You stepped forwards, towards him. You reached your hand out, placing it on his shoulder, âDracoâŠâ You began. He tried to move, attempting to shrug your hand off of his shoulder, âListen to me, I am not going anywhere.â You told him.
â(Name), you donât understand. Something big is coming, something is going to happen. You need to run because I donât want you getting caught in the crossfire, I couldnât handle that.â He finally turned around, your hand dropping from his shoulder as he turned to face you.
âIâm not going anywhere.â You repeated, staring into the taller boy's eyes. âIf I get caught in the crossfire of whatever is happening then we will fight side by side, just like we always have.â You told him.
âNo, love, you donât get it.â He sighed, running a hand down his face. âFor the first time ever, weâre going to be fighting on different sides.â
âWhat do you mean?â You questioned. âWhatâs happening, Draco?â
âI donât know for sure, all I do know is that it will not end well. I know Potter wonât give himself up to The Dark Lord willingly, which means something bad is going to happen and he will take down anybody in his path in order to get to Potter. Students, professors, he wonât care. He will do what it takes to kill him. I donât want you caught up in that. I wonât survive that. So please, love, just run while you still can.â Draco tried to explain.
âI donât run. You know that. I may not be the brightest witch of my age like Hermione, but you know damn well I am a very gifted witch and I do not run from a fight. Hogwarts is my home and if Voldemort is coming for Hogwarts, I am going to stand to protect it and if that ends in my death, then at least I died fighting for what I love.â You told him, your tone firm.
Draco sighed, running his long pale fingers through his blonde locks, giving himself a disheveled look. âGod, why do you have to be so stubborn!â He exclaimed.
âYou wouldnât have me any other way and you know it.â You pointed out.
Draco chuckled slightly, running a hand down his face, âYouâre impossible, you know that?â His smile still present on his features.
âYou love me.â You shrugged, a grin crossing your features.
Draco nodded, âMore than you know.â He sighed.
You froze, your eyes wide, you could almost hear your heart beating right out of your chest, âWhat?â you managed to breathe out, almost inaudibly.
Dracoâs grey eyes widened in realisation, his breathing almost hitched in his throat, âI⊠UhmâŠâ He mumbled, almost stuttering along his words. âNo going back now, is there?â He mumbled, chuckling nervously.
âDracoâŠâ You began, finally fixing your composure.
âLook (Name), I donât know what tomorrowâs gonna hold, probably a whole lot of death so I need to tell you this before either of us get caught up in the centre of whatever The Dark Lord is planning.â He began, running his nimble fingers through his hair, messing it up even more. âIf I could buy you the stars, I would. If I could pull the moon down for you, I wouldnât hesitate. If I could give you a million suns, I would do it in a heartbeat.â He smiled sheepishly, his nerves slowly becoming more noticeable. âBut I canât do any of that so Iâm asking if I could give you my heart instead.â He told her. âYouâre the only one I trust enough to keep it safe.â
âDraco, I⊠Wow.â You mumbled.
âLook, Iâm not expecting you to feel the same. I know you probably just see me as a best friend and thatâs fine with me, I just needed to tell you because one or both of us could die tomorrow. I needed you to know before either of us died.â He sighed.
âI love you, too.â You responded, the words leaving your mouth before you could stop them.
Draco frowned, his signature smirk playing on his lips, âWhen did I say I loved you?â He grinned.
You rolled your eyes, cocking a brow at him, âThe implication was there in that little speech of yours.â You retorted.
This time, it was Dracoâs turn to roll his eyes before his eyes met yours once again, he took a step towards you, âYou mean it? You love me?â He asked.
âEver since third year.â You smiled, placing your arms around his shoulders, his hands found your waist as he held you close.
He leaned down, closing the gap between the two of you and pressing his lips against yours into a soft but desperate kiss.
His lips were slightly chapped. They felt a little rough on your pink, soft ones but that only brought more desperation to the kiss, making you deepen it slightly.
The pair of you pulled back slightly, âLetâs get through tomorrow, Malfoy, and then you can tell me again that you love me. When, not if, we both survive.â You whispered as he pressed his forehead against yours, his eyes were closed slightly as you spoke.
âIf we do both survi-â He began, stopping when you gave him a pointed look, âI mean, when we do both survive, I am going to take you on a proper date in Hogsmeade. I promise.â He let you know.
âIâm going to hold you to that.â You whispered, leaning up and planting another soft kiss to his chapped lips.
He smiled as you pulled away, he opened his mouth to speak until he heard a soft squawk behind the pair of you, he glanced over and saw his pet owl, signalling it was time for him to leave before he was caught on school grounds.
He slowly lifted your hands and planted a delicate, lingering kiss to your knuckles before backing away into the shadows and towards the stairs once again, slowly making his way down them, but not before giving you one final message, âOnce all this is over, meet me on the bridge outside the school, my love. I love you.â He disappeared down the stairs and out of the school before you could respond.
You watched him walk across the quad and towards the bridge before disapparating back to Malfoy Manor. A soft smile graced your features, as you now stared into the nothingness.
âI love you too, Malfoy.â

Warnings : I donât think any apply, other than a mention of a killer.
Plot : You and Carlos had been dating for five months and now Carlos had offered to take you on a date. However, this doesnât exactly go to plan at all. And the police know that they shouldnât mess with you.
Pronouns used : He/him for Carlos, she/her for reader.
Note : I am not a Spanish native and I don't know any Spanish, all Spanish nicknames mentioned in this story are translated from google. If anything is wrong PLEASE let me know and I will correct it.
Info : This is inspired by this song here! Also, this fic is kinda modern and there is also no magic in encanto at the time!
Carlos watched you from the alleyway, flicking his knife open and closed, as you crouched down and laughed with the children.
âYou look adorable, Juancho.â You poked the little boys nose.
Carlos headed over, his slender shadow scaring off the group of seven year olds. You cocked an eyebrow, staring at your boyfriend, âYou know, you really need to stop scaring the kids.â You said, standing up.
âIt isnât my fault. If theyâre used to chico de oro, thatâs not my problem.â Carlos shrugged.
You had begun dating him around five months ago, on his eighteenth birthday. Nobody expected it, you were the sweet good girl and he was the town's bad boy. It was a shock to everybody.
You planted a kiss to his cheek before grabbing his hand, intertwining your fingers with his as the pair of you walked together. âSo, I wanted to ask you something.â Carlos began, ignoring the stares from the townspeople.
âOkay, go on.â You nodded, glaring at the townspeople as you noticed their stares.
âWould⊠Uhm⊠Would you want to go on a date tonight?â He asked.
âWith you?â You questioned.
âNo, with Isabela! Of course, with me!â He responded, cocking a brow at you.
A giggle escaped your lips, âIâd love to.â You grinned, staring at him before planting a kiss to his cheek.
âMeet me at the fountain tonight, after your chores.â He smiled, planting a quick and soft kiss to your forehead before disappearing off into the shadows, leaving you standing with a soft pink tint painting your cheeks.
You met Carlos at the fountain after all of your chores were over, you folded your arms over your chest as he approached you, grabbing you by the waist and placing a quick kiss to your cheek before dragging you towards his car.
âWhere are we going?â You questioned, sitting in the passenger seat as he began to drive away from the small town.
âYouâll see.â He smirked, as he drove. You quickly noticed a sign that said âno trespassingâ and you were currently trespassing. Your eyes widened slightly as you looked over his features, his signature smirk still stood cockily on his lips.
He soon parked the car, the pair of you climbing out as you both sat on the bonnet and began to watch the planes take off. He had brought you to an airport, to a place where you could watch the planes take off. He knew youâd always had a fascination for planes.
He thought youâd have all night, there was no need to rush⊠However, it wasnât long before the sound of sirens and flashing blue lights filled your ears. Carlos threw his head back, âMan, ainât this some shi-â Carlos groaned.
You cocked a brow, âWe could always run for it, thatâd make the best story!â You grinned. Carlos smiled, shaking his head slightly. He was too busy watching you going wild, to be worried about going to jail. The blue lights shone, illuminating the freedom in your eyes.
The police approached the pair of you, you eyed them. They werenât playing at all, they were quick to slam the cuffs onto both you and Carlos. Carlos watched as you tried to talk your way out of it with the police, one looked younger and the other much older. The younger one was definitely a rookie. Your mouth kept moving, trying to sweet talk them, they didnât fall for it but Carlos? Oh, Carlos did, big time. Hearing your sweet words would always make him fall for you over and over again.
Carlos was pushed into the car, the rookie then pushed you in, reading you your rights. âYeah, I understand. I just have one question.â You asked, the police officer stopped at the door giving you a pointed look. âDo you have a light? Iâm due a smoke any moment now.â You questioned.
Carlos eyed you, biting back his laugh, knowing that you didnât smoke. You smiled sweetly as the officers face contorted in anger before he slammed the door. Carlos watched you as you leaned your head back against the headrest of the backseat, a smile still painted across your lips.
âI swear your dadâs gonna kill me.â Carlos groaned.
âMaybe so, but if it makes you feel any better, you wonât be the only one.â You grinned.
âThat doesnât make me feel better.â Carlos chuckled slightly, shaking his head.
âLook Carlos, I want you to know that if we do both survive tonight, I wouldnât change one thing.â You let him know, smiling as you tried to adjust your hands in the cuffs. It was the most uncomfortable sitting position, your hands cuffed tightly behind you.
âNot even this part?â Carlos cocked a brow.
A laugh sounded in the back of your throat, âNot even this part.â You grinned.
Carlos watched you as you stared out of the window as the police conversed with one another. You were so innocent but you were stealing his heart. Carlos couldnât help the feeling within his chest as he watched you, something felt warm and sweet; a feeling he wasnât used to.
The older officer soon approached the car, opening the door and allowing you to go. âYouâre free to go.â He spoke.
âWe wonât be so easy on you next time.â The rookie officer shouted out, causing you to stop walking.
You slowly turned back, âYou should know better than to threaten me, Officer...â You glanced down at his badge, âDiaz.â You snarled. âOfficers like you have gone missing for less.â You let him know, turning on your heel and heading towards Carlosâ car. The pair of you climbed in.
The rookie attempted to follow you, anger crossing his every feature but was held back by his partner. âDonât.â He spoke.
âShe just threatened an officer!â Diaz argued back.
âAnd legally, we canât touch those kids.â The officer let him know.
âWho the hell are they anyway, Hernandez?â Diaz questioned.
âThe boy? Thatâs Carlos Madrigal, heâs the grandson of one of the most powerful people this side of Colombia. The Madrigalâs are the most powerful family this side of the country.â Hernandez let the younger officer know.
âAnd the girl?â Diaz questioned.
âYou donât recognise her?â Hernandez asked, earning a shake of the head from Diaz, âThatâs (Name) Fuentes. You might recognise the name. Her father is the biggest crime boss in all of Colombia.â Hernandez told him.
âNot Sergio Fuentes?â Diaz asked, his eyes almost bugging out of his head.
Hernandez nodded, âYeah, Sergio is her father. We canât touch those kids, many officers have gone missing or turned up dead due to Sergio.â
âWhy hasnât he been arrested?â Diaz asked.
âNobodyâs ever been able to prove it was him. He never gets his hands dirty, but myself and every other officer this side of Colombia know that it was him. Weâve been off his radar for a while, since his wifeâs death. We stay off his radar, heâll stay off ours.â Hernandez explained, watching as the headlights from Carlosâ car disappeared from view. âSergio Fuentes is a dangerous man, and let me tell you, his daughter is just as dangerous.â
Carlos parked the car back up in the town, a smile plastering across his lips as the pair of you climbed out. âI hope youâve been treating my daughter tonight, young man.â You suddenly heard your fathers voice.
Carlos jumped slightly, turning to the older man, âI did, sir.â He mumbled.
âI mean, we spent most of our night in the back of a cop car, but it was fun.â You laughed.
âWHAT?!â Your father yelled, his anger making Carlos jump as he turned towards him.
âDad! Dad!â You yelled, grabbing the man by his shoulders. Your father scared everybody in town. Everybody, that was, except you. The older man stared at you, his eyes softening slightly, âItâs fine, they let us go. Plus, it wasnât Carlosâ fault, okay? Now, go home and think about your cholesterol.â You told him, smiling slightly.
âYou sure youâre okay?â He asked.
âPositive. Now go.â You told him. He nodded, planting a soft kiss to your forehead before sending a nod to Carlos and walking away.
You turned to Carlos, grabbing his hand and beginning to walk the street with him. âThat was one of the best nights of my life.â You grinned, swinging your joined hands back and forth, âWatching the planes, getting arrested, messing with the copsâŠâ You grinned.
âFalling in love in the back of a cop car.â Carlos mumbled, instantly stopping you in your tracks. Freezing.
Carlos was yanked back, almost dislocating his arm in the process as he turned to you, his eyes immediately widened as he saw the unreadable expression on your face and quickly realised what heâd said. Youâd never once told each other you loved one another, in your five months of dating. â(Name), Iâm so sorry. So, so sorry. I didnât⊠Iâm not⊠I-â he stuttered along his words before you lunged forward, throwing your arms around the taller boy.
He stumbled back slightly, quickly regaining his balance once again before wrapping his arms around your torso, âIâm in love with you too.â You smiled into his neck, running your fingers through his curls as you did.
Carlos stared down at you, a smile making its way onto his features as he leaned forward and planted a chapped kiss to your lips, âYouâre my forever girl, (Name).â He let you know pulling away.
You grinned, dragging him along the street as you did, âAnd just think, if Iâm not, weâll always have the cop car.â
Carlos stopped, yanking you back into him so that your body collided with his, kissing you roughly on the lips, his hands gripped your waist so tight that they were bound to leave bruises,
âDonât ever say that again, not even as a joke.â He snarled.
- Hey, hi, hello! Welcome back to another one of my fics! Iâm baaack baby! Anyways, I hope yâall have been well and Iâm sorry if this isnât the best. I tried. I do have a little series coming out soon so if youâre interested, pls be on the lookout for that! Make sure to remember the drink something, eat something, please stay hydrated and remember youâre loved more than youâll ever know! Mwaaah! <33
Henloooo! I am back in my Carlos Madrigal phase (donât ask how) and have started writing again. I have began writing a series (i wonât say miniseries bc we know my series are never mini lmao) but anyways, that probably wonât be posted for a while BUT i am gonna start writing a small one shot inspired by a song I love soon (which MIGHT end up being a miniseries depending on the reception it receives and where I wanna go with it) but yaaaah, also, special thanks goes to Tiggy (@tigreost) because sheâs the one who has always inspired and kept me motivated to keep writing the series and is the one who motivated me to start writing for Carlos again đ€

Plot : You decide to ask Isabela to teach you the meanings of different flowers so that you can make her a bouquet with a special meaning.
Pronouns used : she/her for Isabela, she/her for reader.
Note : I am not a Spanish native and I donât know any Spanish, all Spanish nicknames mentioned in this story are translated from google. If anything is wrong PLEASE let me know and I will correct it.
Info : This is super super rushed and just not very good at all, I apologise for that but I hope yâall enjoy it nonetheless or not, either one works lmao.
Isabela Madrigal. She was known to you. Of course she was known to you, all of your life you had been taught to be prim and proper, to stand straight, your shoulders firm and not drooped, your chin high. You had been taught to speak loud and clearly, to not mumble your words, to not whisper or speak under your breath. You had been taught to be perfect your whole life, the only person to ever understand your frustration was the oldest Madrigal grandchild, Isabela.
A year prior to the fall of Casita, you had shyly admitted your feelings to âseñorita perfectaâ. Unbeknownst to you, she was feeling the same way. However, neither of you could act upon your feelings due to her betrothal to Mariano GuzmĂĄn. The town's dorky hunk who often relied a little too much on his mother, so the pair of you kept your relationship a secret; never letting on that you were seeing each other, the only person who knew was Dolores.
Things had changed so much since then, Isabela was no longer expected to be perfect and the pair of you could finally be free. You wandered through the town hand in hand with Isabela, the sun shining down on your faces, you figured that her aunt must be having a good day. You let out a soft gasp, seeing a small flower sprouting from between the tiles of the sidewalk, âWhatâs that one mean?!â You asked, a soft smile playing on your lips.
Isabela eyed you, a slight twinkle shining in her eyes as she pushed her blue powder dyed hair over her shoulder to get a closer look at the flower in question, her eyes squinted slightly before a smile enhanced her features and she turned to you, âThatâs a Hyacinthe, it means âyour loveliness charms meâ.â She let you know, you felt your cheeks heat up under her sweet doe eyed gaze. A soft smile played on the girl's lips as she leant forward to plant a sweet kiss to the tip of your nose. Her hand moved to grip yours before dragging you down the street, âCome on, hermosa. Mami has probably finished preparing dinner now.â She grinned, dragging you towards Casita.
It was a week later, you sat cross legged on the flower covered floor of Isabelaâs room, weaving the flower stalks in and around one another to make a little crown. Isabela flicked through the pages of a book, her eyes scanning word after word as she slouched across her bed. You stared across at her, watching as her pupils flicked back and forth across the words on the page, âAmorâŠâ You began, slowly, hesitantly. She placed a bookmark between the pages of her book before placing it on a nearby table and locking her eyes on yours, sending you a small smile to continue on, âWould you, maybe, consider teaching me the meanings of the different flowers you grow?â You asked, cautiously.
A smile grew on the Madrigal girlâs face, âY-you wanna learn more about my passion and gift?â She asked, her brows furrowing slightly.
âSĂ⊠I-I mean if you donât mind, of course.â You responded.
Isabelaâs smile grew wider, âI would love to, mi vida!â She exclaimed, clapping her hands together happily.
You smiled, rising to your feet and heading towards where she slouched on her bed, you sat beside her and placed the flower crown on her head, slightly framing the hair around her face as you did. You crossed your legs in front of you, she sat opposite you, pressing a soft kiss to your lips before leaning over and grabbing a book from a nearby vine, she opened it up and you saw drawings of all different flowers. You eyed it in awe, your hand stroked down the page slightly, âDid you draw these?â You asked.
Isabela nodded, âI did,â she smiled, âletâs get started.â She spoke as she began pointing to the different flowers within the sketchpad.
It was two weeks later, you smoothed down your dress and took a deep breath before heading towards the casita, a bouquet of flowers in hand.
The doors flew open as you approached, Isabela stood on the balcony at the top of the stairs, a soft smile on her face, âHey amor, back for another flower lesson?â She smiled down at you.
âUh, no,â You mumbled, âI er⊠I got you these.â You told her, gesturing to the bouquet.
â(Name), you know she can grow those herself?â Camilo scoffed from the doorway of the dining room.
âY-yeah, I know she can. I jus-â You mumbled.
âCamilo, shut up. Donât you have a girlfriend to go and meet up with?â Isabela cocked a brow, folding her arms over her chest.
You couldnât help but laugh at the way Camiloâs cheeks flushed red and his eyes grew wide before watching as he jogged out of the door, you turned your eyes back to Isabela; watching as she floated down on a vine. Your eyes were wide in awe as her feet planted safely on the floor and she stood in front of you, a smile graced her lips as she glanced between you and the bouquet.
âI⊠Uh, I guess Milo had a point, huh?â You shrugged.
âIgnore mi estĂșpido primo,â she told you, stroking a thumb down your cheeks, âyou really did this for me?â She asked, gesturing to the bouquet in your hands.
âY-yeah, I guess I did. I just⊠uh, I guess I wanted to know the meanings of different flowers to make you a special bouquet. I was going to write a letter but I⊠I didnât know what to write and I know that flowers are something youâre passionate about so I took my lack of imagination and originality and your love of flowers and decided to combine them into a little letter for you to let you know my feelings for you.â You explained, feeling yourself getting flustered the longer you spoke.
You lifted your head to see a grinning Isabela, you furrowed your brows, âW-why are you grinning like a Cheshire Cat?â You asked, covering the soft smile on your face behind the flowers.
âBecause youâre adorable!â She grabbed the flowers, pulling them out of your grasp, ignoring your flustered state.
âStop it.â You sighed, hiding your face behind your hands. You eyed her through your fingers as she smiled at you before staring down at the flowers, she eyed them before beginning to pull each flower out one by one as you dropped your hands back to your side, âred chrysanthemum means âI love youâ,â she spoke as she plucked the red flower out and placed it behind your ear, âdaisy means âloyal loveâ,â she let you know, pulling the white flower from the bouquet, âmorning glory means âaffectionâ, red rose means âI love youâ, dwarf sunflower means âadorationâ, yellow tulips means âthereâs sunshine in your smileâ, white lily means âmy love is pureâ, alyssums mean âworth beyond beautyâ, dahlias mean âa lasting bond and commitmentâ, red tulips represent âtrue loveâ.â She listed off the other flowers in the bouquet.
She placed her hands on either side of your cheeks and stared in awe, âYouâre not unoriginal, baby. This was original and adorable and I love it!â She cooed, pressing a soft kiss to your cheeks. She grabbed your hand, pulling you towards the kitchen with her where she placed the bouquet in a vase of water, placing it on the table in the corner beside her favourite cactus.
âI love you so much, (name).â She told you, pressing a soft kiss to your lips.
You smiled into the kiss before leaning forward and pressing your forehead against hers,
âI love you too, Señorita perfecta.â You grinned.

Plot : When you were adopted into the Madrigal family, you were beyond lucky. You had a place to call home, you had a place to belong. You received a gift at age five, just like every other Madrigal kid, however, it feels more like a curse. And when the casita falls, your own feelings surprise even you.
Pronouns used : she/her for reader, all other respectable pronouns for Madrigals.
Note : I am not a Spanish native and I donât know any Spanish, all Spanish nicknames mentioned in this story are translated from google. If anything is wrong PLEASE let me know and I will correct it.
Info : Think thisâll be around 3-4 parts but if you know my track record with series then youâll know not to quote me on that.
It didnât take long for you to begin hating your gift. Not just around the town, but also at home. And now? Now you didnât have your papĂĄ to let you know that he understood or to tell you that everything was going to be okay. No, he left. He left so many years ago now.
You were now fifteen. Mirabel, Camilo and Carlos were all thirteen, they were in their rebellious teen phases but none of them really knew what you were going through. Luisa was seventeen and constantly throwing herself into work just to prove to Abuela that she was good enough. Antonio was three and was always babbling to you about something, thatâs where your gift came in handy, you could let Pepa know what the baby was trying to say before he could form proper sentences- youâd done the same with Mira, Cami and Carlos when they were toddlers. Pepa and Julieta had no bad feelings or thoughts towards you, whenever you heard their thoughts they were usually worrying about you; you would always hear âI hope (name)âs okayâ and âshe never leaves her room anymore, I wonder how she isâ. It was sweet. Dolores and Isabela were both nineteen, Isabela tried to help you as much as she could but admittedly, that wasnât all that much considering she had to keep up her señorita perfecta act⊠Dolores was the only person left there to understand you, given that your gifts were both eerily similar. She knew exactly how you felt and she would always come into your room and try to have talks with you; she was your favourite person in the whole family since Bruno had left.
And abuela? She grew to hate you. It didnât take long, especially after Bruno left. You were forbidden from talking about your father, you were forbidden from even so much as mentioning his name. It frustrated you. Her thoughts about you were the worst. They were so much worse than those of the villagers, their thoughts were just that you were weird and they didnât wanna be around you, but your Abuela? It was your Abuelaâs thoughts that sent you in a downward spiral of anxiety and panic attacks and everything else. Whenever you came out of your room, her thoughts were the loudest, they were the first ones that would come to you; â(Name) is useless.â âI hope (name) doesnât ruin the dinner with the Gonzalez family tonight!â â(Name) is too emotional, even worse than Pepa.â â(Name) doesnât care about this family, sheâs just like Bruno.â
She made you want to scream. The thoughts you heard sometimes became too much and it burned you out and made your panic attacks more frequent, you didnât really have anything to ground you or to bring you back to reality. The thoughts you heard made you become very emotional and upset and made you want to scream so much that you often had a panic attack around the table due to the emotions that you felt.
You were currently sat in your bedroom, sitting at your desk, your head was resting against your hand as you absentmindedly drew on a piece of paper that sat on your desk. âI love you, mija.â You suddenly heard. You shook it off, continuing to draw.
Youâd been hearing Brunoâs thoughts for years, even when you were in your bedroom which didnât make sense considering your gift didnât work in your room unless the person thinking it was in your room at the time. You figured that your mind had made it up due to you missing him so much, he was the one person that kept you grounded during your panic attacks, he always knew how to get you out of them.
You had your first panic attack six months after your fifth birthday, Bruno found you struggling for breath and clutching your chest with tears down your eyes, it scared the life out of you.
Bruno immediately recognised that it was a panic attack, him being a sufferer of them himself. He immediately dropped to his knees in front of you, cupping your cheeks and making you focus on him. âMija, mija, listen to me.â He told you. You stared him, your eyes searching his face frantically as he stared at you. âI need you to focus on my voice, okay. Just focus on me! Donât focus on your surroundings, donât focus on anything else. Focus on me okay, focus on me!â He spoke frantically as you nodded in understanding. âOkay, I need you to use your senses okay. Thisâll help ground you, cariño. Use your eyes, focus on something and tell me the colour, tell me if itâs bright or dull, give me details about it.â He told you.
Your eyes found his ruana, âI-itâs green a-and has hourglasses on it. Itâs d-dull and dirty.â You spoke.
An offended expression crossed his face but he shrugged it off, âOkay, now touch. What does it feel like? Is it soft or rough? Is it heavy or light? What does the fabric feel like?â He asked you.
You reached out, clutching the ruana in your fists as you kept your focus on it, âItâs soft a-and itâs light, really light and thin.â You let him know.
âOkay, now what do you hear? Focus on your hearing, what do you hear, niña?â He asked you, stroking his thumb down your cheek as he cupped your face.
âI-I hear Carlos and Camilo fighting. I can hear rain hitting the window. I-I can hear Isabela and Abuela talking.â You told him.
You breathing was starting to slow down as Bruno moved on to the final sense, âWell done, mija, now smell. Tell me what you can smell.â He told you.
âI can smell tia Julieta cooking arepas and⊠And I can smell the lavender scent from my clothes. And I can smell⊠I can smell the roses that Isabela grew for me yesterday.â You told him, you breathing finally going back to normal as he pulled you into him fully.
You wrapped your arms around his neck and rested your head against his shoulder, he combed his long fingers through your hair, âWell done, mija.â He let out a sigh of relief as he held you tightly. He could feel your tears hitting his neck as the tears from before continued sliding down your face.
That was the scariest moment of both yours and Brunoâs lives. Your first panic attack. And theyâve only become more regular but you had continued to use his trick and use your senses to ground yourself.
You heard a knock at your bedroom door before glancing over your shoulder, your door was pushed open and Dolores walked in, âHola (name). Abuela says that dinner is ready.â She let you know.
You nodded, standing up and smoothing out the green dress you were wearing; it matched the colour of your fathers ruana. You headed out of your bedroom and began walking downstairs, closing your eyes; trying to block out the thoughts that were coming from Abuela.
Why did hers always seem to be the loudest? Was it because hers were the worst thoughts? Was it because she hated you the most?
âIâm proud of you, mija.â There it was again. Your papĂĄs thoughts.
You didnât care that this was just in your mind. You didnât care that these werenât his real thoughts, he was long gone. You had to have made him up in your mind due to missing him so much but even if this was just all in your head, it still brought a smile to your face, knowing that your father was still with you, even if it was only in your thoughts.
You walked into the dining room, taking a deep breath as you took your place beside Dolores. Abuelaâs eyes glossed over you but she didnât say anything, she didnât need to. Her thoughts said it all. âOh great, sheâs out of her room. She better not ruin this dinner like she does with every other one.â Your eyes focused on your plate, relaying all of the colours and the patterns on it. Your hands gripped the table, telling yourself that it was hard and that the wood was smooth and freshly polished. You then focused on your hearing, immediately hearing the clanking of cutlery against plates. You then focused on your smell, instantly smelling the meal that Juli had made; avocados, rice and a smell of arepas in the distance. You took a deep breath, calming down from the panic attack that you knew was oncoming previously.
Dolores placed her hand on top of yours and gave it a tight squeeze. You sent her an appreciative smile before filling your plate, trying to drown out Abuelaâs thoughts. âCanât she just leave mi hija alone!â You heard your father again, a soft smile graced your features as you began eating.
You were about to retreat back to your room once dinner was over but you were stopped by the twins, â(Name), come and hang outside with us! Itâs better than staying in your bedroom all the time!â Camilo grinned at you as Mirabel quickly stood beside you, linking her arm with yours.
âI⊠I donât know.â You began.
âCome on, prima. Chico de oro is right, you canât stay cooped up in your bedroom all the time.â Carlos told you.
You stared between the three of them, a soft sigh left your lips as you nodded in defeat; seeing the pleading eyes of the younger teens. âFine!â You groaned, letting your cousins drag you out of the house.
They dragged you to the town centre where you noticed a hopscotch path on the floor, you frowned before turning to your cousins, âYou brought me out here to play hopscotch?â You laughed, cocking a brow.
âNo, we brought you out here to get you away from that puta-â Carlos began.
âCarlos!â Camilo warned, glaring at him.
Carlos held his hands up in surrender, âSorry, I mean Abuela.â He cocked a brow.
âYou know how Carlos feels about Abuela, I mean he did try to blow the candle out for not giving me a gift.â Mirabel chuckled.
You nodded, âI know. Abuela was so angry that Dolores had to cover her ears when she was yelling at him.â You laughed.
Carlos laughed along with you, nodding his head. âYou know, (name). Thatâs the first time weâve seen you happy in a while.â Camilo told you as the three of you started playing the hopscotch that the kids had drawn.
You stopped when you heard Abuelaâs thoughts again, âsheâs so useless. Why canât she control herself!â You closed your eyes, taking a deep breath, almost falling over as you took another hop.
The younger teens quickly caught you, stopping your from colliding with the pavement. âAre you okay, prima?!â Mirabel asked worriedly.
âY-yeah. Iâm okay.â You nodded, sighing slightly as you smiled at your cousins reassuringly.
âItâs Abuela again, isnât it?â Carlos asked.
You shrugged, âItâs nothing.â You told him, heading back to the start of the hopscotch path, continuing the game you were playing.
You would never be good enough for her. Ever. You just knew it.
Your sixteenth birthday would be coming around soon and not one single person was excited about it, not one single person had mentioned it.
It was just days away and nobody seemed bothered by it.
You were sitting in your bedroom once again, head resting against the palm of your hand as you stared down at the sketchbook and noticed that you werenât drawing on your paper. No, you were drawing on a photograph of the family. You laughed when you noticed, thatâs what you did, you laughed. It was the happiest laugh youâd done in a long while, youâd inadvertently drawn a moustache and glasses on the photograph, on Abuelaâs face to be precise. You placed your hand over your mouth, letting the giggle die down as you tried your best not to disturb anybody. Your door opened and someone peeked their head around the side, âWhatâs got you giggling so much?â Dolores asked.
âOh, nothing. I⊠I kinda drew a moustache on Abuela.â You laughed, lifting up the photograph to show her.
Doloresâ hands rose to cover her mouth and hide the giggle that came from her lips.
Once sheâd calmed down, she opened her mouth to speak again, âMami asked me to come and get you, anyway.â She grinned at you, holding her hand out. You grabbed her hand, letting her drag you downstairs and into the living room. All of the furniture had been pushed aside and a huge party was taking place, the whole town was there.
âWhatâs all this?â You asked, your eyes staring around in wonder.
Julieta was by your side in an instant, âItâs your party, of course!â She let you know.
âM-my party?â You stuttered.
âYou didnât think weâd forgotten, did you?â Pepa appeared at your other side, linking her arms with yours.
âN-no. I⊠I just figured that I wasnât important enoughâŠâ You mumbled.
Your aunts eyes both widened, glancing down at you, âCariño, you are just as important as any of the other kids.â Julieta let you know.
You smiled, hugging your aunts close as a few tears slipped down your cheeks.
The music played and the party was in full swing as they led you over to the dance floor. The pair of them danced with you as you heard your father yet again, âHappy birthday, mija.â you heard him say.
You smiled as you danced with your aunts, glancing around the room and quickly noticing that you couldnât see Abuela anywhere. Of course she wouldnât be here. It was all too good to be true.
You soon separated from your tias and headed towards the punch bowl, grabbing a cup of the fruit punch and drinking it down. âHappy birthday, cariño.â Somebody said from behind you.
You glanced over your shoulder to see Abuela, you turned to face her and smiled her way, âThanks Abuela.â You nodded, placing the plastic cup on the counter and crossing your arms over your chest slightly. âDid, um, did you plan all of this?â You asked, glancing around the room.
Abuela froze slightly, âU-uhm, no. Not exactly. Carlos suggested it and he and your other cousins helped to plan it.â She let you know.
You nodded, raising your brows slightly, that figures. âThat was nice of them.â You grinned.
âYeah, it was.â She glanced down at the floor.
âWhich got me thinking, whatâs so special about you? Youâre just a problem child.â You heard. You were staring at her the whole time, her mouth didnât move, it was a thought.
âYou never hide it, do you?â You snapped, causing her to lift her head.
âWhat do you mean, cariño?â She asked, confusion taking over her features.
âOh, god, here we go again. Here comes the next breakdown.â You heard her thoughts again.
A few stray tears fell freely down your face as you pushed past the elder and ran. You finally ran. You ran out of casita, you ran away from the party. You didnât even know where you were going, you just wanted to get far enough away so that you wouldnât hear her thoughts anymore.
Dolores placed her head in her hands and sighed, her prima and younger brothers all stared at her, âDolores, whatâs wrong?â Carlos asked.
âI donât know exactly but Iâm guessing it was Abuelaâs bad thoughts again. (Name) snapped at her and then ran away crying.â She whispered.
âSheâs still have bad thoughts about (name) even though itâs her birthday?â Mirabel asked, sighing deeply.
âWoah! Carlos wait!â Camilo suddenly called out, getting the attention of the two girls.
The three of them sprinted after an angry Carlos, knowing just what he was capable of when someone messed with a family member he was close to.
âWHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU, ALMA!â Carlos snapped, stopping in front of the elder.
âWatch your tone, Carlos.â Alma said, authoritatively.
â(NAME) HAS RAN AWAY BECAUSE OF YOU! IS THIS WHAT YOU DO NOW, ALMA?! FIRST YOU PUSH TIO BRUNO SO FAR AWAY THAT HE LEFT AND NOW YOUâRE FUCKING PUSHING (NAME) AWAY WITH YOUR HORRIBLE FUCKING THOUGHTS ABOUT HER!â He snapped at her.
âCarlos, watch your tone with your Abuela.â Pepa said from behind the children.
Carlos shook his head, glancing over his shoulder to see his mamĂĄ and papĂĄ along with his tia and tio, âShe made (name) run away, on her damn birthday as well!â Carlos snapped, he was pissed off.
Carlos gave Alma a dirty look before following his father out of the house, âShe could be anywhere, papĂĄ. You know sheâs always been good at track in school.â He sighed.
âHey, I know she and Mirabel are your favourite primas but you canât attack your Abuela like that, Carlos.â His father told him.
âIf only you all knew the truth.â Carlos muttered quietly, luckily his father hadnât heard him.
Carlos shoved his hands in his pockets as he and his father began the search for you, calling out your name as they searched.
Every time they got closer to finding you, you would continue running. You soon found yourself in a clearing deep within the forest, quickly climbing a tree and sitting on an extremely thick branch.
You rested your head against the trunk of the tree as your legs dangled over either side of the branch and you tilted your head back slightly, staring up at the sky and letting your tears fall freely.
You had to leave. You had to stay away. You didnât belong there. Not anymore.
~ Hai! So, hereâs part two! In the next part I think will be leading up to the fall of casita, I think Iâll definitely be ending this at part four though, with the reunion and Abuela finally apologising for being a biiiii- Lemme know what yâall think, angels! đ Stay hydrated, make sure youâve eaten today, remember youâre loved more than youâll ever know and stay safe, lovelies! Mwah! đ

Info : Just a little miniseries for our best boy, Cami!
You and Camilo had been best friends for as long as you could remember; you always stuck to each others sides, always running around the village pranking people together. He was your best friend and you were his.
Today was no different than any other, you finished up your chores before sprinting to find Camilo, âCami! Cami! I got another one!â You called out as you ran his way, skidding to a halt in front of the taller boy.
âOooh! Whatâs this one say, mi vida?â He asked you, intrigued as you unfolded the small piece of paper.
âIt says; you looked gorgeous today! Blue really suits you x.â You read aloud, grinning Camiloâs way.
He smiled, âWhoever this person is, theyâre hooked.â He chuckled as he threw an arm around your shoulders as the pair of you walked together.
Youâd been receiving little love notes from a secret admirer for a few weeks now, you would often find the notes taped to your front door or on the top of a crate that you would be delivering that day but you never knew who they were from.
âWho could they be from?â You wandered aloud.
Camilo shrugged, glancing around at the villagers, âThey could be from anyone. Thereâs plenty of guys in this town.â He told you, glancing down at you as you walked.
You were still staring at the note, Camilo took a mental note of the smile that graced your features as you read it. He knew that you were keeping all of the little love notes in a little velvet box that you kept on the top shelf of your wardrobe. The little notes made you so happy despite not knowing who they were from.
âI guess youâre right.â You sighed, stuffing the note in your pocket as you grabbed his arm from around your shoulder. You held his hand and began swinging it back and forth as the pair of you walked, Camilo rolled his eyes as he chuckled, remembering when he was a child and used to skip down the road holding Doloresâ hand like that.
âWhat if we could find out?â He suggested, turning to you.
âWhat do you mean?â You asked.
âWhat if we could find out who your secret admirer is?â He rephrased.
âHow?â You questioned.
âWell, maybe we could make something up which means that all the boys our age have to give us a sample of their handwriting and then we can compare the samples we get to the love notes?â He shrugged.
âWe could do that?â You asked.
âYeah, sure! I can just go door to door and tell them that Abuela needs them to write something down.â He shrugged.
You threw your arms around him, âThatâs a great idea, Cami! Letâs do it!â You grinned at him as you held his hand once again and began eagerly dragging him towards casita.
You paced around Camiloâs room, waiting for him to come up with some kind of plan. âWhat are we even gonna have them write?â You questioned. âI solemnly swear that Iâm not an idiota?â You asked him.
Camilo held back a laugh as he raised an eyebrow in amusement, âWhy would we get them to write that?â He enquired.
âBecause every boy in town is an idiota and we need to find the one that isnât.â You told him, cocking a brow as you threw yourself backwards onto his bed, allowing yourself to fall freely onto his blankets.
Camilo sat at his desk watching you before rolling his eyes and spinning in his chair as he stared down at the paper before him, he used his forefinger and middle fingers to rub his temples as he tried to come up with something, anything.
It was an hour later when he finally clicked his fingers, âIâve got it! We can get them to sign an agreement for their chor-â He stopped when he turned back to you, noticing you curled up into his blankets, your fists were clutching one of his thicker blankets like a child as soft snores left your mouth.
A smile graced his features as he grabbed a blanket that you werenât laid on and placed it over your sleeping form, âWeâll discuss it later, mi vida.â He whispered, planting a soft kiss to your forehead before leaving his room, letting you sleep peacefully on his bed.
He walked into the kitchen, standing beside Julieta, âHola tia!â He grinned sheepishly.
âCamilo, itâs not going to work. Youâre not getting any extra arepas, you can wait until dinner in a couple of hours.â She told him, turning her head to him with a soft smile.
He sighed, trying to think of a way he could steal some extra food, his eyes widened as an idea came to his mind, âTheyâre not for me, theyâre for (name).â He told his aunt.
Julieta eyed him suspiciously, âYou can take one, but if I find out itâs not for (name), Iâll send Isa after you.â She told him, knowing he hated the pranking wars with his prima.
âAy, okay, okay.â He sighed, shoving his hands into his pocket and leaving the kitchen as Julieta watched him, she shook her head as a smile graced her features whilst he disappeared from her view.
It was hours later, you were currently heading home. Thatâs when you spotted a note attached to the front door of your house, you slowly approached it and carefully pulled it from the wood before walking inside. â(Name), is that you?!â Your mother called.
You lifted your head, stuffing the note into your pocket, âSi, mami. Itâs me!â You called out.
âDinner will be ready in twenty minutes, mi vida!â She let you know.
âOkay, Iâll go and get washed up.â You responded before heading up the stairs.
âOkay, cariño! Donât take too long!â She called out.
âAlright!â You called back, heading into your bedroom.
You closed the door behind you and took out the note, carefully unfolding it and reading the words written on the paper: You have the cutest laugh Iâve ever heard.
A red tint highlighted your cheeks as you stared at the note before placing it in the velvet box and hiding it back in the top of your wardrobe. You couldnât revel in the moment yet due to having dinner soon, your hands rose to cover your heated cheeks before you left your room and quickly slipped into the bathroom to wash up so that you were ready for dinner.
You stared at yourself in the mirror, seeing the red flush that was spread across your cheeks, you shook your head; trying to rid your cheeks of the tint that was currently highlighting them.
Your eyes averted back to your reflection as you dried your hands on a nearby towel, âAy, who the hell are you and what the hell are you doing to me, mystery guy?â You whispered as your hands covered your cheeks.
âMi vida! Dinner is ready!â Your father called out.
âComing!â You shouted, exiting the bathroom.
You headed down the stairs and took your seat at the dining table. Enjoying your meal with your family as you quickly put the love note to the back of your mind.
