beersforfears replied to your post: Why do you post such shitty gifs?
can you open a video in elements and make a gif from that? or do you have to pause and screen cap scenes from a video and put them together??
Um you can "import video to frames" but you have to go frame by frame, and they open as different images in your bin, but not different layers in one image. It's also pretty shitty, because, although you can use arrow keys to go back and forth between frames, it skips a lot of frames sometimes, and it doesn't tell you which one you are on. The best way I have found to do things is to shorten the video clip using whatever program you prefer (I just user Windows Movie Maker), use Avidemux to split the video into frames, drag all of the frames into Photoshop, select+copy everything in each image/ frame, and then paste them layer by layer into one image (the final image to be saved as a gif). It's so much work aldkgjdsj ugh I tried to use CS3, CS4, and CS5 all on my computer but none of them worked.
