This beefy version of a traditional lemon loaf has a great mix of savory and citrus flavors. This dish is hearty and perfect for a cozy dinner.
Ingredients: 500g beef mince. 1 lemon, juiced and zested. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1/4 cup breadcrumbs. 1 egg. Salt and pepper to taste. 2 tablespoons olive oil.
Instructions: Preheat oven to 180C 350F. In a mixing bowl, combine beef mince, lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix well. Form the mixture into a loaf shape and place it in a baking dish. Brush the top of the loaf with olive oil. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes or until cooked through and golden brown on top. Once cooked, remove from oven and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve slices of beefy lemon loaf hot with your favorite sides.
