#bee sting

Wednesday evening K went out to take Hero his dinner, then came running back just a minute later. Stung by a bee - down inside her darned boot! She has a pretty severe bee sting allergy. I dosed her with Claritin and liquid Benadryl RIGHT away, and we put moistened baking soda on the area of the sting. She laid her epipen out on the coffee table, and I reviewed the directions for using it.

Then, as she felt pretty stable, I went out to finish feeding Hero. I found him at the fence, at the nearest point to the bucket with his dinner, staring so soulfully at it. Unbelievably Eeyore-like. All he knew was that his dinner was on its way, and then the delivery person just - put it on the ground and ran away? Horses have feelings, too, you know.

I got the mash in his dish and gave him a quick pat, then hustled back to the house. Either due to a half-hearted sting or the very quick administration of medicine, she did not react strongly this time.

I GOT sting by a bee for the first time, freaked out bc I didn't. know i was allergic, I had to see my ex gf face to face annndd yeah. IM GOOD HOW R U LOVE

Doctor wasn't sure if it was a delayed reaction or what, but I'm on anti-biotics, and anti-allergy tablets to see which one will help, bit I think they'll both help!
