I registered for level one of the Knitting Guild Association's Master Hand Knitter certification, and the instructions packet is thirty-six pages long. I have to answer QUESTIONS. I have to write ESSAYS. I have to do BOOK REVIEWS.
All on top of knitting eighteen swatches and a mitten.
This is going to be so much fun.
The more I chat with other knitters who have done/are doing The Knitting Guild Association's Master Hand Knitter certification, the more it sounds like the knitting version of the N7 program, which if anything has made me more excited to take this on.
so I guess it's his yarn now
Thirty-five days till my first Rhinebeck in five years!!
And I'm going with a friend who has never been to a fiber festival before, so this should be awesome.
(Have no fear, we'll be getting the cider doughnuts first.)

Last week I FINALLY finished a cardigan I designed and have been picking at for YEARS, and took this picture in triumph just before I bound off the last stitch.
Alas! I hadn't picked up enough stitches for the shawl collar and button bands, so I had to undo all of it. Thousands of stitches! ARGH.
I'll redo it this weekend as I finish Nirvana in Fire, but OOF this hurt. At least now I can fix all the issues with my short rows?
Wei Wuyarn’s outer robes are coming along nicely! He’s no longer running around naked!
