Mr and Mrs Boonchuy have to be my favorite pair of parents in Disney TVA history. I love how they're unconditionally loving and supportive of their daughter, accepting the Plantars as part of their family, and just being fun characters altogether.
*Anne swinging by her parents' place to pick up baby Lily after work.*
Anne: "Mom, Dad, I'm here!"
*Bee hurries in*
Bee (in a hushed voice): "Oh Anne! You're never going to believe it! We found a new species of frog in our own back yard!"
*Bee takes a confused Anne by the hand to pull her to the back yard*
Anne:"Wait, what?"
*Oum is holding a blanket up to hide something in Lily's baby stroller. Anne sees where this is going.*
Oum: "Behold..."
*Oum pulls back the blanked to show baby Lily asleep in the stroller and wearing a homemade, pink, frog onsie.*
Oum: "... the pink lilypad frog! Eeeeh? Eeeeh?"
Anne: "You know, I knew that there was going to be a 50% chance it was either this or an actual new frog."
Bee: "So... you don't like it? Your mom and I took forever to make it."
*Anne is frantically taking pictures and sending them to her wives*
Anne: "Don't go putting words in my mouth."
Mr and Mrs B would then make amphibian onesies for the later grandkids (toad for Percy, newt for Maddi). Lily was really attached to that outfit and Anne showed her off to her coworkers (Anne asked her wives to bring Lily in the onesie to her job) and they loved it so much, they joked about adding a new exhibit.

Bonus spooky pics
Also, I found out that there's also a holiday called Wren Day celebrated on the 26th in Ireland. Which. Haha. If the Wren I know sees this, happy Wren Day!! (And, of course, happy Wren Day to all who celebrate!!)
LA's Favorite Foodie-Fighter Couple: The Boonchuys! 🥘💪❤️🔥
I've been eager to adapt their designs after having them on hold since the first few chapters, even though they haven't had much of a chance to get involved directly into the story. Adapting their strong personalities and designs from Amphibia was such a warm challenge, and I wanted to honour that while aging them up with grace and a touch of “we’ve-survived-an-invasion” preparedness. For their colour palettes, I took direct inspiration from the Plantar family as a little homage to the frogs who changed their lives forever, even if it's just small hints!
At her starting 50s, Mrs. Boonchuy is the disciplined backbone of their family and business. She’s mellowed a bit since Anne came back, but her austere side is still fully operational. Between managing the restaurant’s books and her “emergency readiness” Muay Thai sessions, she still finds time to organize community food drives, because some habits of kindness are even stronger than interdimensional trauma.
Her wonderful husband, Mr. Boonchuy, is still the heart of Thai Go's delivery service, a stealth gaming pro, and a man perpetually ready for chaos. Whether he’s perfecting a new recipe, teaming up with Marcy for an online raid, or discreetly checking the “just-in-case” gear Mr. X may have let on their garage, he does it all with a calm smile and a secretly spicy hand.
Together, they’ve built more than a restaurant; they’ve built a sanctuary and a frontline defence for whenever chaos comes knocking. (And let’s be real, in this crossover, it does.)
