#bed canopy

Canopy posted by a Pinterest user. She said she got the beaded curtains on ebay. 

These are ten randomized secondhand saris. I ended up not using the three neutral ones, because i didn’t need them to fill out the canopy. They will be put to use for a different project later.

Taken from my doorway, facing the foot of my bed with curtains closed.

This is the side view, curtains closed. I really like the green one with the gold and black peacock border. I like all of them but that is a very good shade of green.

And here is the interior with one side and the foot curtains drawn back. I didn’t super perfectly make my bed this morning cause I had Shit To Do, but it’s okay, it still looks comfy-cozy I think. The saris are all just kind of draped in place, except at the head of the bed. There, the corners are tied to the bed frame along the bottom bar of the headboard, so that they won’t try to leave on me, because those three are hanging longer on the foot end of the bed than the head end.
