✅ This guy continues to really impress me with his patience and gentleness. His first camping trip happened this month and he behaved way better than any of us expected: tent manners were perfect, he only barked a couple of times when I left him at the campsite (common for him. He suffers from Love You Lots, but that will be a struggle for CGC), and he walked really well on the trails - even when we encountered wildlife scat and a reactive mini American shepherd. He listens to commands well, especially "leave it" but still doesn't have a lot of duration built up yet. But he is still baby so we let that slide. He is still very friendly with folks and almost overly-interested in dogs so I will spend a day off in the lobby at work or maybe outside on the bench, rewarding him for not interacting with other dogs.

❌ Eating while other people around is still a no-go 🤷 It might just be that way for him. He has had a couple potty accidents in the house, even with regular breaks (2-3 hours) so he is either adolescent boy not paying attention or its regression. Or it could be a signalling issue: he usually just waits quietly in the kitchen by the door so if I don't see it maybe he moves on with life.... Debating getting potty bells. He has been spooky about things like the screen door, another dog smell, and the lilac bush so I will keep an eye on things in case of fear period! From what folks say, they have seen it as early as 7 months and as late as 18 months so I will just keep that in mind and be ready to bail if it's too much for him.
