Arctictis Binturong.
binturong
daily creatur 033 (8/3) - binturong !!
also called a bearcat !! which i can see
it's an omnivore, feeding on plants, small rodents, fish and insects !! it's mostly nocturnal while also exhibiting the behavior of animals which are mostly active at twilight. they're found throughout south and southeastern asia and are listed as vulnerable on the IUCN Red list. most of its diet is likely vegetable matter due to it lacking the attributes of a predatory mammal. it's majorly affected by habitat loss, forest degradation, illegal trading and illegal hunting. it has a large prehensile tail which helps them communicate and also keep their balance. they growl when irritated and make low grunts and hisses when prowling
good suggestion +!
hee hee !!

What do u think Hector pets names are? And their genders?
I'll start with gender, because it's more straightforward. I never referred to Hector as anything but he/him. As a cis person, I respect and use people's chosen pronouns, but I don't tend to have trans headcanons for characters unless there's really strong evidence. Adira refers to Hector as "he," and so do I. In fact, Adira straight up says that everyone in the current Brotherhood is a man, except for her.
As for pet names.... you mean what other people call him? I suppose Adira may have come up with one for him, since she tends to call people by descriptor names, since it saves time on learning their real name. So she must have come up with something for him when they first met. Perhaps "Braids" or "Wild-eyes".
But "Hector" as a name doesn't really shorten very well. I can see someone calling him "Hec" and it eventually evolving into "Hell" as a pun (heck/hell), and as a testament to how dangerous he can be and, again, those wild eyes.
EDIT: You probably meant his pet's names and genders, huh? ð
I have never personally named the rhino anything, but I call the binturongs/bearcats Popcorn and Kernel. I headcanon them as siblings, Popcorn is a female and Kernel is a male.
And again, I haven't thought much about the rhino.
