What do u think Hector pets names are? And their genders?
I'll start with gender, because it's more straightforward. I never referred to Hector as anything but he/him. As a cis person, I respect and use people's chosen pronouns, but I don't tend to have trans headcanons for characters unless there's really strong evidence. Adira refers to Hector as "he," and so do I. In fact, Adira straight up says that everyone in the current Brotherhood is a man, except for her.
As for pet names.... you mean what other people call him? I suppose Adira may have come up with one for him, since she tends to call people by descriptor names, since it saves time on learning their real name. So she must have come up with something for him when they first met. Perhaps "Braids" or "Wild-eyes".
But "Hector" as a name doesn't really shorten very well. I can see someone calling him "Hec" and it eventually evolving into "Hell" as a pun (heck/hell), and as a testament to how dangerous he can be and, again, those wild eyes.
EDIT: You probably meant his pet's names and genders, huh? 😅
I have never personally named the rhino anything, but I call the binturongs/bearcats Popcorn and Kernel. I headcanon them as siblings, Popcorn is a female and Kernel is a male.
And again, I haven't thought much about the rhino.

My coworker was wearing a lanyard that had the Bearcats on it. No idea what school or team it was from, cause the only thing running through my mind was the game against Binghamton before Neil was taken.
12. What have you named Hector's
animals in your mind?
The bearcats' names are "Good Quirin" and "Good Adira". The rhino is Edmund Jr. 😌
For real tho, this is so embarrassing- b/c for as much as I've brainrotted about Hector, I don't really have concrete headcanon names for them?? Whenever I'm chatting with friends, they're always just 'the bearcats' or 'the girls'.
That said, I tend to think Hector wouldn't actually be the most creative or poetic when it comes to naming his animals? I think he would name them more simply, almost like a kid names a pet, based on their qualities and wanting something that sounds warrior-like. I kind of like Shade for the bearcat with a slightly darker pelt, and Fang for the one with a snaggletooth? Alternatively, Talon, Dagger, Spear, Shadow, Smoke, Ash, Thorn, Briar- that kind of vibe.
I could def see names from mythology or astronomy paired with the HC that Adira, Edmund, or Quirin (anyone well-read) helped name them! Or maybe foodie names if he asked Adira for ideas? She dubs the rhino 'Cupcake' or 'Bonbon' to annoy him and it sticks- imagining one of the Corona chars asking his (the rhino's) name and Hector just groans lmao
