I don't think Bear would even realize he had a crush at first

He'd be talking to his mom about you then she'd jokingly be like "seems like you have a crush, Bear"

"What? Nah, it's not like that"

The next day...

"Oh shit-"

Bear is a teenage boy and he's also a little goofy goober

Meaning, he doesn't do the logical thing

Which would be asking you out

He tries to seem cool

"Dude, what's with the sunglasses?" "Does it make me look cool?" "No" "I'm gonna ask Willie Jack. I don't know why I asked you"

Sees you approaching and tells everyone to act cool

His version of "acting cool" is manspreading, wearing sunglasses and making his voice seem deeper

Starts lying about his strength and Willie Jack cosigns of course

"Aren't I super strong?" "Fuck yeah! One time you lifted me, Elora and Cheese at the same time! True story!"

I don't think he'd wanna ask his mom for advice but she'd get him advice anyway because watching his attempts at being cool was giving her a migraine

"Just be yourself! It's obvious that they already like you" "You're my mom. Of course you'd say that"

I do think that eventually he'd pluck up the courage to ask you out on a date

But he's clumsy asf

"So I was thinking... You wanna hang out?" "Sure" "Alone though. Like, you and me. Alone. On a Saturday. The night preferably. And uh, I'll bring you something and-" "Are you asking me out on a date?" "If you'll say yes then yeah"
