What do you think about mercy killings of rape victims?

I know that sounds crazy but it's the only way I can describe what just happened in the book I read and it's bothering me because I don't know how to feel about it.

I hate straight people so much because like nobody takes the LGB community seriously now because all these straight people are so guilty, so they make all these new labels to avoid being oppressed When you look it up, and when you think about it, they've never actually been oppressed and it gets my freaking nerves, because every time I say this, somebody doesn't even say anything All they do is say you're wrong because they don't want to confront their own biases.

(I'm very very very aggravated with the Great Shift So I'm going to make a part about every rule of misogyny that they tend to use, This one get's kinda personal in the end)

It's happening The Great Shift is fully happening now. It happens every time women get some recognition for their pain, it gets angled back on men within the next few years and once women stop fighting people leave it alone. It happened with the me-too movement. now I can't go three scrolls without someone talking about a woman abuser, like its happening at the same rates as men While also never talking about F/F abuse. What I find is crazy is that these people that are making these Very stilted "Awareness" content are never actually male victims. I've noticed with a staggering Accuracy. That the people who make these videos are Either well-meaning but male centered women, left leaning misogynist male, or a right winger who's trying to justify male violence. And just to be clear I'm not mad because they're calling out women. I'm mad because they act like women are doing it at the same rates and in the same ways. They're not. That one percent out of 99 is still a lot of people. And I am angry. I'm so freaking angry my and many others' experiences are always shoved under the rug by these people Supposedly raising awareness Because it doesn't fit the message that men have it just as bad.

In the end they end up silencing other victims more than anything by making it about gender. I cannot count the times on my vent account that people say something to the tune of: "Those bad women they never get in trouble for hurting males" (because they always assume I'm male for some reason) or are talking about how much they hate women in the comments. I end up deleting the post every time because I just cannot deal with that.

These people do not care about victims. They just dont. They care about "gender wars". They care about silencing women, even if they don't know they do. They care about blaming women, or justifying men
