Outside of the tasks that Wonder Woman had allowed Mia to slowly begin to step in on, Mia had found herself trying to squeeze in more and more time for training. She was still out of the field, would be for...a good while, if she had to guess, but she wanted to make damn sure that she was ready for when she got the green flag. She’d always been pretty on top of training (and she had Ollie to thank for that, with all of the training he’d insisted on before she’d debuted as Speedy), had to push herself a little harder now that there wasn’t fieldwork to go alongside it, but at least there was an archery range and a training room at her disposal.
“Hey, I know I said that I was going to work on archery shit today but it’s raining and I really don’t need that in my --” Mia cut herself off, looking up from her phone as she set her bag down inside of the training room, and frowned a little. “You’re not Black Canary.” No, the person inside definitely wasn’t her mom. “Shit, sorry.”
