I’ve thought about closing this IG account many times. Social media can be a scary place. It’s where I’ve been told I should be self-conscious about things I didn’t even know were wrong with me 😐🙄. But, it’s also where I’ve made life-long friends🥰, been able to share my journey, my struggles📉, my successes 📈and create content to empower others💪🏽. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ This account may have started as a way to track my weight loss, but it has shifted into a platform where I focus on mental and physical growth. My passion for health and wellness pushed me to leave my teaching job and pursue a career as a certified nutrition coach & personal trainer. I don’t see myself as having left teaching, I still do every day, just in a different way. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ For a decade, I struggled with dieting, body image issues and extremes when it came to nutrition and exercise. Which is why all that I do is to help others find a more mindful approach when it comes to their health. I'm here to remind you that you don’t always need to be on a diet, and that no matter what your goals, you need to prioritize your PHYSICAL and MENTAL health in the process. Every day is a good day to love yourself. You are not the number of the scale or the size of your pants. You are an incredible human being who brings light and happiness to those around you and THIS NEEDS TO BE HONOURED AND CELEBRATED! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ I know a lot of you like to remain silent and refrain from commenting, but I want you to know I am always so grateful for your DMs, support (silent or written) and kind words. Often times I’ve wanted to close this account because it takes a lot of time and energy…and putting myself, and my struggles out into the world can be super challenging and scary. But because of your support, empathy and compassion I’ve kept on sharing. I’m so GRATEFUL for you all! ♥️♥️♥️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ #nutritioncoach #nutritioncoaching #strongisbeautiful #strongissexy #shecandoboth #bbgtransformation #eatingdisorderrecovery #bingeeating
