ok so basically this is a request for gabe’s best friend, who is also his cousin. she moved to mexico with her parents from puerto rico when she was a few months old, and her mother and gabe’s mother became friends very quickly. her father had died just before she was born, and her mother and gabe’s uncle became romantically involved very quickly.

gabe and gina grew up together, and when he and his parents moved to san francisco, his uncle and new wife weren’t far behind. the two of them have always been friends, ever since they were little and baby gina was thrust into gabe’s chubby little hands because the adults wanted some alone time. 

ever since then they’ve been each other’s confidants, eating dinner together at least twice a week. gina has a little girl who’s around four-ish years old and gabe loves her to pieces. whether she’s still together with the father or not is another matter, but i kinda liked the idea of the whole family pitching in to help because she’s all by herself.

however, to add some drama into the mix, gina has recently got herself involved with the cardinal syndicate. why, how, or when is totally up to you, but she’s obviously hiding it from the rest of the family, and especially gabe. the family still think he’s a detective, and he’s far too righteous for his own good; she doesn’t need someone preaching to her about how dangerous this is.

THE THINGS WE NEVER HAD -- a wanted ad.

concept: childhood best friends and soulmates who live together but dont really bother with labels and would go to hell for each other.

this is a wanted ad for my second character on this site, EKRAM TAILOR. he’s a police officer, nihilist, and general existential mess. the guy is completely off the handle, too violent and too bitter for anyone’s good. he’s also, however, gay as hell and more in love than he’s willing to tell anyone. what i’m looking for here is basically his own little corner of the block. this person should be a rock, someone not shaken by a person as morbid and hashtag damaged as eka is. they should also be a man of colour, because i said so. deets under the cut.
