I think I'm done with the show. I heard Tyler won veto and honestly I can't. That and reddit is so toxic about the show that it depresses me more. It was a fun ride but I'm out.
I gotta say, I didn’t expect to like Tyler that much. He seems to be quite a good and self-aware player so far though that makes me want to pull for him. He seems pretty cool and down-to-earth despite his “dumb, surfer dude,” archetype pre-casting? “My biggest weakness is my brain,” I’m guessing was just for the cameras.
1.) He was immediately cautious of the fact people may have thought him and Angela were in cahoots due to being from a similar location. Nothing came of it but still that power of perception is important to have.
2.) He’s playing both sides of the house but not in a super slimy/scummy manner? So far it seems like everyone just talks to him and gravitates toward him. He was able to play on Kaitlyn’s issues with Fessy securing the final vote to evict Steve.
3.) Handled his first HoH just fine, got his intended target (Steve) out leaving behind Sam who holds no ill-will toward him nominating her, instead she comes to trust him enough to clue him in on her secret power.
It’s still too early to call anything but Tyler so far is striking me as someone who at the very least will go far, heck even America’s Favorite House Guest-tier.
