I honestly don't remember why I felt like watching the storm going on that day since there wasn't any particular weather event going on. However, I was mesmerized by the way the sky would change color over minutes. I never get tired of looking at the skyline, no matter what kind of day it is.
Bay bridge from Embarcadero and Bryant. This was from a paint out near the end of last year with Danny Folkman who came up from LA to visit and paint. He's amazing, check out his work. He has paintings for sale right now which will fundraise for LA wildfire relief.

You Don't Know How It Feels by Thomas Hawk https://www.flickr.com/photos/51035555243@N01/53168679383
I had an adventure to Yerba Buena Island! We took the Treasure Island Ferry and then climbed up the hill. The park at the top is not open yet so we ended up standing off the side of the road. This view of the Bay Bridge was just absolutely irresistible to me. I tried it both at 5x7 and 2x3 simultaneously, with the same two brushes. Then we walked back down the hill and had a lovely lunch at Mersea! I'll definitely be coming back for more painting adventures.
