#bay leaf

This sickly bay leaf tree is wasting away in the garden… and I painted its portrait a while ago, when I felt like I could relate.

take back my power spell

sometimes, our energy gets so wrapped up with life that we forget to reign back in that power, that strong, positive energy. so a ritual to take it back is a great way to reset your energy, refocus, and revitalise your being.

black, white, or red candle (dressed if you want)

salt

black pepper

clove

coffee

cinnamon

sage

dried peony flower (although this time i used a dried rose since that's all i had on hand and i needed some self love)

choice: you can either burn a bay leaf as you speak your intention or you can write your intention down on parchment and burn it

place your salt, black pepper, clove, coffee, cinnamon, safe, and flower in a firesafe dish. place your dressed candle in the centre of the dish and light with intention.

bay leaf! ⸻ a presentation that blurs that lines between genderless & masculine! this could be a mix of the two, not being able to tell the difference between them, etc!

I lighted the candle and meditated on the affirmation for a few minutes. You are free to burn it if you have safe environment fo that, I don't so I just kept it on my altar space to prevent fire hazards, safely contained away from the flames.
