how do you test to see if wooden dice are weighted properly? Obviously, the saltwater test won't work but I can't find any other articles online.
I don’t! I simply don’t bother myself about whether my dice are balanced, because if you’re properly shaking up your dice before rolling them (or using a tower), perfect balance doesn’t matter--especially on the level of a friendly DnD game

Do metal dice scratch acrylic ones if you put them in the same bag? I got a really nice metal set and I want to put them in my big bag but I don't want them to ruin my older dice
To be honest I don’t know for sure, but that’s the reason I’ve never stored my metal ones with my plastic ones. Better safe than sorry!
1. I completely agree with you about the big dice shop thing. I have 125+ sets and like diversity, and it's harder and harder to not find a million dupes of the same dice again and again. 2. Halloween Dice Confession of my own: I'm to the point I wanna puke every time I see a Kraken RAW set announcement, not because I think it's a bad idea, but because I don't have the equipment to safely finish dice, or extra money to pay someone to finish the set for me, yet that's all they've made this year.
Oh my gosh SAME. I had a bit of a mini rant about the raw sets on my personal twitter a bit ago--I have no interest in finishing sets myself, so if they were also releasing finished versions of the same set it’d be fine, but they’re not, and it’s really galling that I essentially have to take up DIY to be able to purchase these frankly gorgeous sets. It really feels like they saw their fans were already willing to shine up the sets that came out dull and scratched, so decided to take it to the logical conclusion and just not even try to polish them at the factory level.
Sorry for the salt y’all, but I’m genuinely PEEVED about that one.

They never arrived! I did order them right when corona was starting to cause chaos in every single aspect of life, so I’m wondering if that’s the culprit here. I briefly looked into contacting the company but Wish doesn’t make that easy :/

I take online Zoom lessons from my favorite band’s guitarist! :D I started in March literally not knowing which end of a pick was up, and it’s been kinda keeping me going through this year--I’m currently not working for Pandemic Reasons, and having a teeny bit of structure like that has been a godsend.
My teacher does have a patreon where he gives mini guitar lessons here! But it’s more tutorials on how to play his songs than like, skill-developing lessons. Still, he’s engaging and fun and it’s worth a look if you already know some basics!

Awwwwwwwh thank you!! <3 Honestly I have...mixed emotions on them. I’ve ordered a few colorways, including the new icicle set, but I don’t have super high hopes. Imo some of the sets that have luminary in them look kind of lackluster in normal light, the luminary beads give them this muddy milky look that I’m not fond of. But we’ll see! I am so willing to be proven wrong on this one, lol
