I really liked this Ghost Maker story line, I don’t think it’s the most polished and could have used some more depth for Ghost Maker(though that might be being saved for later) but I really like how it’s a story about empathy and caring for others and it feels like we don’t get enough of that in comics anymore. Batman caring for Bao. Harley still caring for Ivy and Ivy in her own way still caring back. The bat family all going out of their way because they care about Bruce. Harley caring about the pain she’s caused and wanting to right wrongs. Ghost Maker caring enough about Bruce to give up when Bruce does, and maybe he stays and changes because what he needed himself was someone who cared about him, after years of his lonely fight he meets the one person he saw as an equal again and Bruce reached out to him and asked him to stay, he tried to show he cared. And so for now Ghost Maker is going to take that. It’s all just about reaching out and asking or offering help when needed. I dig those themes.
