True Steph had horrors in her past, and sometimes they came to haunt her in her day to day life. Anything could trigger her from remembering that man… The way he abused and tortured her for information, the permanent damage he’d left on her brain, she couldn’t speak of the horrors he’d bestowed on her and seeing his face… His name, anything to do with him made her shudder.                                     And that is exactly what happened, Steph was ‘mid flashback’ in her brain until her words brought her out of it. She points to the building in front of her ‘sionis enterprise’. It was a cover up for the Black Mask’s criminal activities. “That name,” she  comments, her voice an octave higher than a whisper. “I know that name.”

— His wounds weren’t healing…Actually, they were but too slowly, so agonizingly slow. He felt pain radiating from his abdomen, pain wasn’t a new concept for the speedster but pain over an extended period of time? Definitely not new but very rare. Something about the weapon that injured him caused his cells to regenerate slowly but no time was taken to figure out what was going on, Barry surged forward to complete his task of apprehending the city’s ne’er-do-wells before worrying about his wounds.

Pain…Why wasn’t he healing quick enough? The bleeding’s been reduced substantially but the gash was still open, he had no bandages on him to treat his wounds nor did he want to move to get some. No, he needed to move to get some treatment or he’s seriously going to die get an infection from his post-battle laziness.

Looking around, he discerned where he was before speeding off (as best he could) towards a near by building; scaling the wall next to a window, his hand grasped the windowsill as the other came up to knock the glass to alert the person inside. Hissing in pain as he hung in midair, gravity pulling his body downwards while his arms tried to counter it, it was pulling him apart.
