This isn't so much a question as a comment on your recent post, in question form because Tumblr doesn't allow comments. Hell, as a state of being dead, is nothing to be feared. It's simply not existing. While the idea of no longer existing can be scary, just think of it like this: it'll be just like before you were born. You didn't exist then. Do you have nightmares about that time before your birth? It's nothing to be scared of. Live your life as full as you can. Then, when you are ready, go.
Oh, I know. I personally can't wait to not exist and I don't see it as being scary at all. I'm actually a little amazed at how terrified people are of their own mortality, and I find it really interesting to read about people's beliefs of the afterlife and/or why they're so afraid. The fact that that particular writer considers not existing anymore a form of Hell is rather strange to me, but it certainly sheds some light into one possible reason why so many people grasp onto religion as a way to save themselves from that particular "torture".
