The Bat-rogues and their feelings towards Batman can quite neatly be divided into three subcategories. There's, 'He's just some annoying mook who keeps thwarting my crimes' (ie Penguin, Scarecrow, Two Face) There's 'I want to have sex with him and I can't be normal about it' (ie Joker, Riddler, Hugo Strange, Catwoman) And there's 'I hate his guts but he keeps insisting on showing me empathy and this frustrates me to no end' (ie Ivy, Freeze, Croc) But there's also a secret fourth category with only Harley Quinn in it that I like to call 'we're actually best friends he just doesn't know it yet.'
