Hello Twin, It's been a while, hasn't it? Sorry, It's just College stuff and all that while on Vacation, just forced to do so.
Anyways, I got a special order I would like to place please!
It's from the Minecraft ARG At the crossroads don't turn left!
Can I please order a Yandere! Avery x GN! Reader?
(ofc his avatar on minecraft lets just pretend to focus on his avatar in the game pls)
I want some Angst and Fluff, Please as a Oneshot!
Plot: It starts when both Avery and the reader are just hanging out just doing a lot of stuff in their shared house or outside in the game, they spend a lot of time together as Avery grows attached to them clings for their attention.
This us during when the King is Yellow isn't present but D3rl0rd3 is here btw and is not living with them sadly cuz he goes adventuring and visits them sometimes.
I think that Avery is not the type of Yandere to kill unless absolutely Necessary bc he wants to be innocnet in our eyes and just gets jealous when we talk to anyone besides him.
So he comes up with a great way for him and us to be connected together forever.
I think Slimes are immortal I think cuz i don't think they age so for this request, he is young and immortal and uses a recipe from a book he got from somewhere i think as it says on how to turn someone to a slime hybrid.
because Avery knows the reader can't live forever and does not want to live with that gulit forever so he uses this as his desperate attempt to 'save' the reader.
So in the night, he makes the potion and puts in a cake he baked just for them, and as the reader consumed it, the symptoms of the potion began to affect them.
and so in the end, they got turned to a Slime as Avery hugs them while the reader is speechless.
yeah, that's it, Ty and Bye!
So firstly- HI TWIN HOPE YOU HAD A GOOD VACAY AND TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF, DON'T LET COLLEGE BURN YOU OUT!!!! Second- Thank you for this king-sized meal and I hope you don't mind me changing it just slightly because Minecraft ARGs are the area where I'm a little stricter in the sense I can't seperate the sillies I ship together so you're getting a polycule-
They/Them reader as requested!
Things seemed pretty relaxed. You had two boyfriends- one even living with you- and they were in love too.
Honestly, you never thought this possible but with Derek- or 'D3rlord3', as his name pops up on your discord screen- and Avery, any issues seem nonexistent or just really small and easy to fix. Really, it was a great relationship even with Derek always going off on his adventures but he would always make sure to come back with resources and stories. You did worry over him but for it he agreed to take a break between adventures to spend some days with you and Avery.
Overall? Cozy and you loved the little cuddle piles where it was always whoever laid down first got sandwiched in. You had agreed on that at the very start since none of you seemed to have a preference for the order.
But Avery was a little more on the clingy side... You always knew he was more a touchy guy, given that he was used to fighting and building which tended to leave a guy a little lonely. You mostly just stuck to building and redstone, which may classify you as a total loner but you didn't really mind it. Derek was an explorer and fighter. In a way, there was a connection between you three that bound you together quite nicely.
Derek was more shy with it, surprisingly. He got flustered so easily in the beginning over simply gestures like holding his face and even now he gets flustered over simple but surprising gestures just a hug from behind. Not that he was against them though.
And you? You were always welcoming and even initiating physical affections but you also preferred to use gifts. Something usually Derek used but he always put a spin on it by relating his gifts to something cute and saying it fit Avery and/or you. You'd just craft things to make your own paintings and build machinery for automation to help out. Your paintings did have meaning but you never really were as smooth with it as Derek.
But today you had taken Avery on a stroll to explore the surface rather than going with Derek to the tunnels below. Some village was being raided, so you helped Avery against the Pillagers and got some medical assistance as the Villagers helped you both to a feast in celebrations.
But something seemed to bother your poor Slime boyfriend. Something about seeing you all scarred and bruised seemed to awaken a deep worry in him. Although, your gaze seemed to send him the right message and you finished eating before heading off for some privacy.
"What's wrong, Aves?" You asked softly, holding his hands as he kept glancing towards the bandages covering the holes where the Pillager arrows were before. You were resilient which both Derek and Avery always admired you for but...
"I just... Remembered you were mortal..." He muttered, his slime partially dripping like he was crying. "And... I... Hate the thought of losing you or Derek..."
You knew there was more to this but considering your situation, you sadly had to wait for Derek's return to touch up on this topic deeper. "I wouldn't be taken down so easily-"
"They had Ravagers with them, [Reader]... Ravagers." He cut you off, the seriousness on his face being so unlike him since you've gotten so used to him being more sweet and supportive. "It wouldn't have mattered how resilient you are, those things will easily take you out..."
You spent a few seconds to think before pulling him close and watching as he practically melted against you. "I'm sorry... I'll be more careful, honey." You muttered, knowing exactly how weak he was when it came to those cheesy pet names. With a slight sigh, he let the topic go and decided to plan ahead when you two got home.
Ever since he's been switching up more often, busying himself in the little brewery room you set up and telling you he was preparing a gift for you. You assumed it was just a health potion or something but since you couldn't just sit around all day, you went to busy yourself with your machines and figuring out how to improve the output. It wasn't too much movement so as long as you could avoid anything falling apart, you should be okay.
Fortunately- or unfortunately- Avery came out every few hours for a chicken or cow from the farm. you were all the more curious about his project but he just kept repeating "It's a secret, and stop working on the machines before you get hurt!" like a broken record and dragging you inside just to sit you down on your bed. It wasn't like you were careless with it!
But the injuries still wore you down. You didn't want to sit still and grew more exhausted, only taking small breaks at Avery's insistence and getting right back to it when he disappeared back downstairs for his project. You knew this wasn't healthy but sitting idly the whole time would've driven you crazy!
Oh, but Avery's been crazier. You just never knew about to what extend like the way he would tell villagers that you, Derek and him were married but still trying to decide on a material for the jewelry to make it openly known. Or how everytime you thought you lost things or must've used them up and forgot, it was really in Avery's inventory and waiting to be added to the secret storage room he had with a pair of shrines to Derek and you. He was more careful with Derek's stuff because despite all the adventuring, he paid surprisingly good attention to his stuff. You, however, were more careless about storing your items so it was common for you to lose stuff or forget to restock on blocks you need. There was a lot you didn't know about him because he needed you to think of him as the silly slime man you fell for. The obsession was just... A minor detail...
If only you knew the effort he put into it though... How careful he is about selecting the items that he adds to his shrines, the fact he asked you to teach him redstone "to help with the machines" when it was really to build the secret entrance for his little room where his obsession could run wild instead of bursting and snapping in front of his partners, how he refuses to kill unless he needs to(excluding mobs and animals) so he is never caught in a dirty light, how many pictures of you and Derek he snuck off with and made the more innocent ones a whole anniversary surprise on a cake he made when it had been his turn to bake...
Speaking of... He did seem rather excited when you woke up one morning to show you a strangely green cake...
"[Reader]! I made the perfect cake! This will make sure you never have to worry about being injured again!" He announced excitedly, the first red flag you should've seen. But you were still half-asleep from the comfort of the sheets under you so you thought little of it. "It's cute Avery but..." You made sure to sit up as to not doze off in the middle of talking. "This is what you've been working on..? A cake..?" Your tone wasn't disappointed or annoyed but it also wasn't as cheery as he had hoped.
"Not just any cake! It's infused with a special potion to help you!" He huffed, acting a little dramatic but cute to soften you up. It did work but Avery knew very well he made it hard to say no to him. It was like watching a puppy beg for food... Except that puppy was just barely taller than you...
You just assumed it was some kind of healing or resistance potion so you relented. "Alright... Thank you, I love you." You smiled gently, soon sitting with a cake on your lap and Avery sitting beside you with barely concealed excitement. He even made the effort to grab a slice and bring it to your mouth himself which made you chuckle but take a bite regardless, barely giving a care over the slight slime residue coating the slice because of Avery's hand.
It wasn't the first time he tried to feed you or Derek and ended up leaving some slime residue in your mouths. It wasn't harmful for consumption and didn't really taste much of anything besides whatever he was handling before feeding you. You weren't sure why he liked to do it so much, maybe he saw it as a romantic gesture?
But... Something tasted off. The taste of the cake made you shudder, a strangely cold feeling washing over you almost instantly as you swallowed. The taste itself reminded you more os a watermelon but it was trying to be as sweet as pure sugar. You struggled to even finish that one slice but you didn't want to disappoint Avery...
"May-maybe we should leave the rest for Derek?" You suggested sheepishly, putting away the cake once you were halfway through it and felt like you've been swallowing sugarcane. "It's... A bit too sweet..."
Strange... Your voice wasn't usually so strained but Avery just seemed delighted. "That's a perfect idea! That way I won't have to make another one." He nearly jumped off the bed, coming up beside you just as you were starting to feel weaker. You didn't know why your body suddenly seemed to refuse to cooperate when you wanted to question him and just allowed him to guide you back to bed with a comforting kiss to your forehead. "You get some more rest now. I'll go find some more places to explore and get everything I need for when you wake up!"
You were too tired at this point to argue. Which was weird with the fact you just woke up too. But your body didn't fight it. You were too cold and almost on auto-pilot, your body crawled underneath the covers and you began to pass out once more...
But you didn't understand... What was up with Avery and how come he spent all this time working on a weird cake that was probably even enough to give someone who eats sugar everyday a heartattack? Why was he so eager to have you eat it and sleep again right after? Why did you feel like you were in a trance the whole time as he spoke?
Question after question, your unconscious mind conjured up dreams of possibilities and none of them seemed to make sense. So, when you woke up again, you were more than a little alarmed, to say the least.
"What the fuck what the fuck what the fuck what the fuck what the fuck what the fuck..." You muttered, sitting up as you looked at your hands and felt your body struggling to keep itself up.
You were made of slime. Although your slime seemed to take on more of a blue-ish colour(Tinkers' Construct, anyone?).
Still, you were confused and in a panic. It was safe to assume that Avery was still out with the sunlight still coming in through the windows so you took a moment to gather your thoughts and get out of bed, albeit struggling to keep a balance. Your entire body felt simultaneously lighter and heavier and it was super confusing all around.
Glancing over where you had set the cake, it was still as you left it. Derek was still out too so you had time to figure out what was going on. You had so many questions and no one to answer them for you so you tried to hold yourself up against the wall while you slowly made your way downstairs. To the brewery.
Opening the door was like entering a laboratory. All the cows and chicken Avery had taken were here and just... Slime.
They didn't seem to be in pain and you could only guess why there would be slime residue on the walls and ceiling...
Was it better or worse than seeing blood in its place? You couldn't even be sure if this was real anymore with how bizarre it all felt.
The cows and chickens still responded normally to your presence, although their movements were just as careful and wobbly as your own as they moved around. You were almost too scared to think about what Avery could've done here...
But it didn't make sense! Avery was always so sweet and endearingly dumb! You felt completely blindsided... You would definitely need to tell Derek about this when he comes back...
You were about to turn around and go back outside when you noticed an open notebook beside the brewing stand. And you were no stranger to curiosity...
The notebook itself mostly had doodles and notes about the development of whatever potion was in the cake and some notes on the side about how the three of you would live happily without any worry about injuries or even death.
You did remember learning about the immortality of slimes because they can just split into smaller slimes near infinitely and any residue that is left around can just be absorbed again to regenerate them but you didn't expect that there was a way to turn into one. Much less that you would become one!
It was terrifying. It was like waking up in a body that isn't your own but not having anyone to help comfort you. Derek is still gone to explore the caves for who even knows how long and Avery is the one that did this to you! Clear as day, you were on your own so your worries and panic had to be internalized.
But trying to make sense of it all felt more like you were deluding yourself. Avery has the tendency to be impulsive but why would he force this upon you? Was he somehow convinced being a slime was in your best interest? But it didn't make sense for him to not even hint at it-
Questions upon questions upon questions circled through your mind as you sat at the edge of your bed in silence. Avery had been back already and was happily rambling about you never having to worry about being hurt again like this which already answered a couple of your questions but still...
It wasn't until you noticed he was trying to reach out towards you that you flinched, snapping back to reality and giving him a look that you hadn't even really realized was just one of pure terror. He seemed a little surprised but sighed, shortly moving back away and seeming even a little... Guilty? He was hard to read right now and it only brought more unease to it all. "You're not... Taking this well..." He sounded a little hurt which made even you feel guilty for your reaction, despite knowing all that was happening. You were adjusting to your body having changed so drastically and were questioning all you thought you knew but your body wouldn't let you voice your confusion and fears for some reason.
"But I should've expected this. Immortality and body changes is something to get used to! Although, I guess I should explain some things with how hurt you look." He sighed, grabbing behind you to drape one of the blankets over your body, the weight actually sitting comfortably on your shoulders and making you involuntarily relax ever so slowly. "When we fought those pillagers and I saw you so injured, I wondered what I could do to help you avoid dying when I should be there to protect you." He began, a surprisingly warm kiss being placed on your forehead as you let out a breath you didn't even realise you were holding. "But- One of the villagers pointed out that the arrows stuck to me were much easier to remove and didn't leave damage which reminded me about slimes and our immortality. We're resilient and hard to get rid of so I wanted to give you and Derek some of that immortality too!" He explained it like it was a happy birthday surprise. Maybe it was his tone or enthusiasm that made you feel silly for doubting his intentions. Even so...
You attempted to quell your questions, wanting to believe in Avery's judgement despite... Well- this-
"I guess... But it was terrifying... It still is..." You muttered out sheepishly, soon enveloped in a hug and feeling your head strangely solid despite your slime. And with Avery resting his head against your odd hair now, you almost instinctively leaned into it which seemed to put him at peace. "If you really want Derek to have some cake too, let's just talk to him about it first..." You figured you could still talk Avery into seeing what the issue was despite how mentally tired you were after all the terror and changes.
He seemed to take it into consideration, nuzzling up against you with a slight nod. "I'll remember that, thank you and I'm sorry for not talking to you about it first..." He sounded even more guilty than before, eliciting a small sigh from you as you reached one of your hands behind to give him headpats. "I... Appreciate it... Let's just- just try to get used to this?" You suggested, sparking a bit of excitement in Avery as he quickly shoved his face around to pepper yours in kisses.
It was bizarre and flustering all at the same time, pretty much making the rest of your questions die out in your mind by the time he reached your mouth.
He tasted surprisingly sweet now...
