Barricades are made out of tiles, barrels, blocks, and sacks of sand against which human beings seem to blur and become insignificant. They can also be seen as a symbolic represantation for conflict, division, separation. Pavel Wolberg is one of the twelve shortlisted artists for #PrixPictetSpace photography award for social and environmental sustainability, and his work connects to this year’s theme for the award of ‘Space’.
