I know a secret about you, Ellie... I know you like to play with your food. I know where you like to play, and I know it never satiated that beast inside you. Come to the fairgrounds at midnight... You've made this a thrilling chase, so I think it's time to come clean. @barricade2007
Elizabeth had always known that, one day, she'd be caught. One day she would be the rabbit in the wolf's maw rather than the beast brandishing their teeth. Did she think the day would come so soon? Not at all.. and yet there she stood, a dangerous distance in her eyes as she processes the invitation.
Oh, she did not hesitate. Not one bit. She doesn't even bother to delete the encrypted text on her way out. No.. Elizabeth only moves to grab one of her cameras, her coat, and her keys before closing her door behind her and tearing her way to the fairgrounds just between the woods and the town limits. Abandoned, for the most part, save the occasional poor soul passing through that had no interest in the town's campgrounds nor the historical shops and street venues. It hadn't mattered what business the place got during the day though, not to the high hanging moon at midnight. The fairgrounds would be devoid of life either way, and devoid further of humanity thanks to the eeriness the night blanketed the fairgrounds with and the monster that now roamed its dirt paths.
Elizabeth was far too casual as she slides herself over the ticket booth's spurring entrance. Her camera was already wound with film, a few snapshots taken of the fairground exterior and some still-lit signs as she makes her way through. She wouldn't let herself dwell or fester on the discovery. Elizabeth was.. curious more than she was alarmed, and it showed.
Whomever had drawn her out would either hear her footsteps or the gentle snap of her camera's lens.
