I'm all about practicality. I always hear the cue in general group ex classes "keep the weight on your heels". Think about the clientele. Women, many of which wear some raised heel in the back for work. One problem with this is, some people people start getting unbalanced with a weight on their backs and begin to put too much weight in the heels. Anyway.
