So, I learned something today and I want to relay it to y’all.
Apparently, in Princess Quest I, there’s a Baobab Tree etched into a plaque above a certain door. Said tree is half-withered and half-thriving.
There are three kickers to this.
(1) These doors lead to the Glitch-Trap/maybe Afton room.
(2) The Baobab Tree itself is sometimes called “the tree of life”.
(3) A very similar tree was in Tales’ The Storyteller, all the way down to the half-and-half state of it.
I am starting to wonder if one of my much older theories was kinda true..
(Not really split because of the circuit board thing, obviously, but the point still stands that Glitch is probably not William.)
If it is, then how did I call some of this two and a half years ago?? When I was just getting into the full swing of theorizing, no less??
Also, the theme of duality is back again. The fact that it’s near Afton/Glitch’s room this time is making me want to hit my head on a desk. There are too many symbols of duality in this game and in Tales for it to not lead to something.
