Continuing the spirit of earth day (cause every day is earth day, knowhatimsayin) I did up a chart looking at my personal reduction in plastic bag waste. A lot of the time, I hear people devalue personal and small scale actions because “it won’t make a difference.” I decided to scrutinize this idea. Big reveal: it does make a difference. What doesn’t make a difference? Doing nothing. Is it a complete fix? Of course not, but the more I dive into studies and data on the environmental crisis we’ve created, the more it becomes clear that ANY positive action conducted in a meaningful way is essential to us slowly reversing the calamity we’re responsible for.
