This is just to give you an insight on what's gonna happen here. These are just my true thoughts here, so bear with me, it's not gonna be poetic.

I've been wanting to write 'Just The Two Of Us'  since a long time. It's very close to me because it's my first ever story. Through this story, what I intend to convey is, absolutely nothing. That's right. Absolutely nothing. This story is not one which is a dark/suspense thriller, or one which would inspire you for your next endeavour, or psychologically motivate you. It's rather something that focuses on an emotion. Particularly, the emotions of the characters. I aim to showcase the characters' true, raw feelings about each other. 

I usually gravitate towards stories which, to some extent seem realistic and relatable. They must be light, believable and make you, the reader, go through certain feelings without emotionally exhausting you. Unfortunately I couldn't find many works that were convincing enough, logically made sense, and basically, hit me hard. Which is why I set out to write one myself. It does of course have a few fictional elements without which there might be no story. 

This story mainly and solely focuses on just the two characters (and a few others) and their feelings for each other. It's basically about two ambiverts who are conscientious, resourceful, firm, slightly egoistic, and quite normal people who happen to realise, discover, and explore the possibility of being in love. It's a dream-like almost magical romance focusing on what I love to call "the butterfly inducing effect". So, get comfy, grab a tub of ice cream, maybe get a few tissues and be prepared to experience romance like no other and fall in love.

"Ugh.. my cramps are such bitches" You told to yourself as you sat on the couch. The door rang it means, Namjoon is already home.

"Love, I bought some new clothes for us to wear at the party this weekend!" He said and went to the living room, saw you in the couch. It looks like you were in pain...

He softly spoke to me while sitting on the couch beside me, "Y/N are you alright? It seems like your not.."

You finally spoke, looking at him, "Joon, I got cramps today and it's such a bitch for making me in pain"

"Don't swear, my love." He reminded me like all the time whenever I swear.

"Joonie, I'm already 24." You said at Namjoon.

"Fine, fine. I'll get some food for you to eat and to calm your swearing down" He chucked at me.

"Okay, Thanks Joon. I love you"

"I love you too"

Kim Seokjin:

You are currently lying on your bed because you have some cramps today which you didn't expect to come.

Your boyfriend, Jin called you and you answered the call ringing on your phone,

"Y/N My baby, How are you? I still have work to do here so I'll be at home by 10" He said during the call.

"Oh ah.. Jin, I- I have cramps right now and it's a lot of pain. But, never mind it's okay" You spoke.

"Wait! Ah, just stay there. I'll go home now"

"Huh? Jin- You don't have to-"

"It's fine to me, Y/N. I'll just continue my work at home so I can cook you my delicious recipes to make your cramps go go away" Both of us laughed and now you said to him,

"Thank you, Seokjin. Love you"

"Love you too"

Min Yoongi:

You right now are having cramps so you messaged Yoongi.

My everything <3 - XXXXXXXX

Y/N: Yoongi...

Yoongi: Yes-?

Y/N: My cramps are you know.. I'm in such pain right now :( "

Yoongi: Oh, Don't worry, The pain will ease soon. Do you want some- maybe chocolates to cheer you up ? I'll bring them to your house then"

Y/N: Sure, thanks, Yoongi. Ily <3"

Yoongi: I love you more Y/N :) "

Jung Hoseok:

"Hi honey ~ I finished my shift for today!" Jhope exclaimed while walking towards to our bedroom.

I weakly spoke, "Ah.. that's great, love. You should get some sleep now"

"Hmm, Y/N, I won't sleep first"

"Why Hobi?"

"I know your having cramps so I'll give kisses and cuddles for you tonight" He softly smiled while he said his statement to me.

"Oh- okay, but even though you're exhausted already?"

"Exhausted? That's not on my vocabulary when it comes to my future wifey" He said while showing his sunshine smile to me.

I also smiled back at him, of course.

He went up to me and cuddled me plus with kisses to make me fall asleep and forget the cramps. A few minutes later ~

Hobi whispered while admiring my cuteness and adorableness during my sleep,

"I love you, y/nie"

Park Jimin:

"Baby, I'm here now ~" Jimin called you but you didn't answer back even when you wanted to because of your painful cramps.

"Y/N? Are you there?" He asked, I heard from the other room searching for you. You heard the door of your room opening up, revealing Jimin.

"My love is in pain..?" He softly concerned to me.

I replied back, "Oh, well yeah.. my cramps are painful, Jimin ssi"

"I'm here now so your jiminie is here to comfort you ~" He replied with a soft voice to comfort me while I'm in such pain.

Jimin hugged you and kissed your forehead and leaves some tiny and cute pecks to your face while caressing your lower abdomen softly to ease the pain slowly.

"I love you ~"

"I love you too, Park Jimin"

Kim Taehyung:

"Y/N? Can you help me out with these?" Taehyung called you for help, you were about to go out of the living room to the kitchen then suddenly-

"Ah- shit. Cramps." You whispered to yourself.

Taehyung decided to check you out and saw you, "Are you alright? Do I need to-"

I cut him off by his over-protective personality which is one of the reasons I'm in love with him, "Yes, yes I'm fine Tae. It's just the sudden cramps."

"Okay.. I'll just get the hot bag in our room to help you out with the cramps" He said directly to me.

I said back, "Love you, Kim Taehyung."

A bright smile appeared to his face and said "I love you more" to you.

Jeon Jungkook:

I'm now cooking food for me and my boyfriend, Jeon Jungkook.

"Kook! Food is ready" I said, he is playing video games online with his hyungs now.

"Coming!" He answered back.

I smiled at his statement. A few minutes later, he finally came.

"Y/N! Guess what?!"

"What is it, koo?" I questioned him.

"I won 5 rounds in a row along with the help with the hyungs!!" He exclaimed at me showing his bunny smile at me which made me smile too.

He went to me and hugged me,

"Jungkook, my- ouch"

"Oh I'm sorry y/nie, I just got so excited and happy.. I didn't mean to hurt you"

"It's okay kook, It's the cramps that hurt me, not you"

"Ohh then, let's eat first and let's watch some netflix and chill together, ay?"

"Sure, Jungkook. I'd love that! I love ya"

"I love ya too my future Mrs. Jeon"

"Yes hyung, I'll fix that next time."

"Ok Jiminie, but remember our performance is less than a month away. After all, it needs to be a Grammy-level performance." 

"Yes Hobi hyung, I remember." I replied, as I strolled outside our dance practice room, for a much-needed break.

Trust me, Hobi hyung has been saying this for three months. It is true that we are nominated for the first time, and our performance of Dynamite needs to be amazing. However, I think Hobi hyung is getting a little, just a little, too excited. Nevertheless, I am also extremely excited for the Grammys. I sincerely hope we win the award; I know ARMY is highly anticipating this and such an accomplishment would obviously gain us the admiration and acknowledgment of many around the world. I saw Namjoon hyung walking towards me. He is probably here to remind me about our schedule or something. 

'Oh my god, when will this day end?'

"Jimin, we have our Dallyeora Bangtan's shooting today after lunch. Let's meet up in the shooting room at 2:30, okay?" he said. 

"Yeah okay hyung." I replied. 

"Oh and also, Taehyung said he was waiting for you in the cafeteria. It seems like he wanted to eat lunch with you."

"Ohh ok, I'll go right down hyung."

I started walking to the cafeteria. Normally, everyone goes by themselves for lunch, since they are always busy with their individual work, but I guess Taehyung is free for lunch today. 

"Hey Jimin. You look worn out ... Did you practice extra today?" Taehyung asked me.

"Yeah, well, I needed to practice. What did you do today?"

"I finished recording my part for Film Out. I still have to practice for the Dynamite performance. Oh god, I seriously have no idea when we'd get a break Jimin."

"Don't ask me Tae, I'm waiting for that too." I replied. 

After we grabbed our lunch, both of us made our way to the film studio. We were the last ones to go there, and the time was only 2:15. 

"Were you guys waiting for us?" Taehyung asked.

"No hyung, it's only been five minutes. Don't worry, you weren't late." Jungkook answered.

"Yeah okay, now since everyone's here, let's get started guys." We heard the cameraman say, from behind us.

"Okay, I'm so tired today guys. I need to go home and-" Yoongi hyung yawned midway.

"-sleep." 

His eyes were drowsy, as he threw himself on the blue couch. He also looked like he had a headache. 

We worked so hard today, with the Grammy performance in a month, the Film Out MV also releasing in a month, and our Run BTS shootings going on, we are completely exhausted. Everyone were very busy today, and all that we wanted was to go home and relax. 

"Hyung, let's just call it a day, huh?" Namjoon hyung suggested.

"Ahh, yes, please hyung, let's do that." Jungkook requested. He worked the most among all of us; he did everything on the same day, dance practice, recording, shooting. He even took some English lessons today. He must be the most exhausted among us.

"Yes Namjoon, let's just pack up for today." Jin hyung also chimed in. It's rare for Jin hyung to say he's tired, so when he says that, he must be really, really tired.

"Okay guys, let's go then. Should we clean up?" Namjoon hyung asked the staff. We try to clean up after ourselves, since we make a big mess on every Run BTS episode shooting. 

"It's okay, you guys sound really drained. Go home and get some rest, we'll take care of this." one of the staff member said. 

'Whew, thank god. I mean, I'm not lazy, I'm just extremely tired today.'

"Thank you so much everyone. We'll make sure to owe it up to you someway." Namjoon hyung said, as we all bowed and left the room one by one.

"Okay guys, I'm going home. See you tomorrow!" Jin hyung said, before he left in his car.

"Yeah okay hyung, I'm also leaving guys. Good night everyone." Yoongi hyung muttered, before he too left.

"Bye hyungs, meet you tomorrow." added Jungkook, as he got into his car.

"Ok bye guys, I'm going to head home too." I spoke, as I bid goodbye to them. 

I walked towards my car and sat inside. I asked my driver to drive us home. Neither am I in the mood to eat dinner nor do I have the energy. I had a heavy lunch anyway.

I entered my apartment and tossed my jacket on the couch. I walked as quickly as possible to my bedroom and threw myself onto the bed. I am way too tired today, but I guess it isn't new to me.

I've been coming exhausted almost everyday recently. Working late has become my routine. It's not that I like overexerting myself, but I don't necessarily have another choice. Don't get me wrong, I truly love my profession and I'm highly passionate about music and dance. But it just gets too tiring some days.

However, I'm okay with working this hard, because it's something I love doing. I love music and working on it. I enjoy improving in that aspect, and constantly try to get better with my singing and dancing skills.

Maybe that's how it is for everyone. When you do something related to an activity you love, you never feel the strain. Since you love it, you would try to get through as many hurdles as possible, to achieve what you want to. You treasure the thing you love and pursue it as much as possible.

Maybe that's why I treasure music so much.

'...And the winner of the Best Natural Award of 2018 is.....LEE SU-JIN!'

'...And the winner of the Best Eye Makeup of 2019 is.....LEE SU-JIN!'

As the previous years' award ceremonies replayed in my mind, I am sitting here, waiting for this years awards' to be handed out. Since I have been given the title of the youngest award winner for three consecutive years, expectations were very high, making me just as nervous as the first time.

"Welcome to the IBI Award Ceremony of 2021! Firstly, I would like to acknowledge the contestants of this year's competition. Each and every one of them have worked so hard to get into this contest and have submitted their best works. All of them have been given their deserved points....so good luck to everyone!"

Once the host had finished the introduction, he started announcing the winners of each group. This year I have registered for only one category, Best Onstage Makeup, which is, unfortunately, the last one to be announced.

'Great, just when I thought my anxiety couldn't get worse.'

"And, last but not the least, Best Onstage Makeup. We've received a large amount of submission, in particular, for this category. It became quite hard for our judges to choose a person for this award. It was a close call, but the winner of the Best Onstage Makeup of 2021 is....."

As I saw my fellow contenders eyeing the trophy, I immediately knew that they have the same thought as me, to win. This could lead to many opportunities in the future. Obviously everyone wanted to win.

"...LEE SU-JIN!!"

'Huh, what? My name...oh wait, did I win the award?!'

Just when I was questioning myself if I had won or not, the host called me on to the dais to receive the trophy from the Chief Guest. I stood up from my seat, and slowly, started walking to the stage. I bowed to both the chief guest and the anchor, and turned to face the audience.

Everyone started applauding as the Chief Guest handed me the trophy. Even though I was excited to the core, I still had to keep my cool. I gave the most professional smile I could ever give and bowed again to the both of them. As I was descending the stairs, I could feel someone staring at me from before, but I just shrugged it off, thinking it was one of the younger contestants, looking at me with admiration.

"Eomma, tell Abeoji as well. I need to go now. I have to eat dinner."

"Yeah, ok Sujin-ah. I'll call you later. Bye!"

"Bye Eomma!"

I sat down after I cut the call with my mother. It was a very lengthy conversation. Yet again, it was part of my daily routine. Talk to her about my day, her day, what she did today, how her neighbor annoyed her to the peaks, and that stuff. It never was burdensome for me to talk to my mom. Today, in addition to our usual talk, I also had to fill her in about about how the competition went, or she would not let me be. I quickly finished eating and put all the dishes in the sink.

'Oh god, I am not in the mood to clean these now. I'll just do it in the morning.' 

I laid down on my fluffy bed and gazed at my ceiling. It was a habit of mine, whenever I was trying to process everything that happened on that day. From, the nervousness and anxiousness I felt in the beginning, to the happiness and the euphoria I felt when I was on the dais, everything replayed like a short film on the plain, white ceiling.

Although I was delighted with the fact I won, a thought still lingered on my mind. Was I as happy as I was at my first win? Was I as excited as I was when everyone applauded for me back then? What happened? What changed? Was it the amount of times I won, that made me lose the excitement? 

That does not mean I was overconfident. I was content and satisfied with my effort and my result. The amount of hard work I put in to this gave the best outcome I could have ever hoped for. 

But, somewhere, I could feel the difference. And the only reason I could think of, was, maybe once you've received or had something for a long time, you start to take it for granted. And maybe, that is why I might have not felt the same amount of happiness I felt back then, compared to now. 

Maybe that's why I never take people for granted.

First of all, I am so happy I actually started this book. This took me around a year to get down the plot-line and the logistic side of this story. As you might have already seen in the description, this is a fan-fiction based on Jimin as an idol. As much as it might sound or be real, this is not a depiction of their characters in real life. I just used real-life events, that have actually happened, in the story to portray how it might have took place in the story. I know this is confusing, but please bear with me.

There might be other K-Pop artists or groups mentioned in this book so I would also like to say, I do not own Bangtan or any of the non-fictional characters in real life. This is a fan-fiction. All of the characters and situations here are fictious. Any similarities with one's life or work (books/movies) that may be noticed is simply a coincidence.

Additionally, I would like to remind you that I put my blood, sweat and tears *pun intended* into this book and I would request you to not copy/claim this work as your own. If you plan on doing so, well then, I would like for you to fuck off. 

This book might also contain some swear words, so please proceed with caution.

So, other than that, I have pretty much nothing to say. Just sit back with some popcorn, if possible, and read on!
