I have an autographed copy of her book “Woolgathering.” She is a modern-day patron saint for memoirists, poets, and contemplatives.

Chapter 104: Vamola 4
Kinda crazy that Vamola has never seen men before. Also, can Sumerians communicate telepathically? They were talking with thought bubbles, so maybe that's what the antennae on their heads are for. That's the main difference between Sumerians and Earthlings I guess, I wonder if there's anything else that's different?
Banga raised Vamola right. Banga may never say it, but you can through her actions that she would always help people in danger. I also love that Banga became the Sumerian God she didn't believe in with the kaiju suit. If Banga has an idea, you bet she will see that idea through till the very end. I LOVE BANGA SO MUCH AUUUUUGH!

This was their lowest point. Vamola, Banga, Tome and Aja were all ready to die then and there. However, Banga is holding on to one last hope, one miniscule chance that things can still work out for the Sumerian people, and that hope is possible because she has Vamola. I love the way she bounces back from the despair in this moment. Even in the face of death, Banga doesn't give up that easily.
I love these old ladies. Even when they're dying they still got the energy to banter.
