In order to be considered, you will be a NMC Registered Nurse - Adult (RGN) with extensive post-registration experience. You have a management qualification, as well as Mentorship. You will have demonstrable experience of leading a clinical team in an acute service or community nurse led area. You will have a good understanding of Quality and Risk, HR and recruitment, as well as operational management and budgetary experience. Ideally you will have had experience of working in the NHS also. The position is to lead a new Acute Home Care Service that works in conjunction with the NHS to help discharge patients into their homes early, but with the full support of a clinical team. This includes a full nursing team, doctors and healthcare assistants and all are supported by leading technology to keep everyone informed on a patients progress. Patients are typically in the service for about a week before being discharged to the GP and community team. This is a service that has a proven track record and is part of an expanding portfolio of services the company is planning to launch in the coming years. As the Clinical Service Manager, you will represent the company to the client trust and will ensure that high quality, risk free care is provided to patients in their homes. You will oversee the Nursing Team, Pharmacists and Doctors, to ensure that the contract targets are met and will monitor performance and the growth of the service. You will be involved with all aspects of the service, which provides care to patients recovering from a variety of medical conditions. You will report to the CEO and will be professionally accountable to the Director of Nursing and Clinical Services. The service will be based in Bristol and you will need to have your own care and be able to drive, in order to meet patients in their homes, when needed. This is a full-time, permanent position with 37.5 hours contracted. Salary for this position is between £45,000 and £55,000 and will be dependent on experience and suitability for the position.
