Dead Forest
I wanted to try to draw something different than just characters, so I tried to do some landscapes. My intention was to try adding depth to my illustration and to practice contrast.
Joan of Arc
I intended to do Joan of Arc from memory to be more precise, Albert Lynch version of Joan of arch (it doesn't look like her besides the hair, and it's not even close)
.
Also wanted to imitate the canvas texture in my sketch book (with a ruler and a pen, this step consumed most of the time)
.
I could swear Joan of Arc had a cape, but after finishing this sketch, I checked the painting that I was loosely inspired, and to my surprise She was holding a flag and wasn't even red. (I don't know where I got the idea to put a red cape in there)

A Kim Pine Sketch
I was bored and made a Kim pine sketch. I ducked up in the eyes but still wanted to post it.
A kind of half self-portrait and half scenario study
I wanted to try practice perspective, in this case, a room being lit with the sunlight that passes through the window.
.
.
I Tried to colour the majority with blue. (I ended up ripping the sheet around the face, LMAO)
A quick sketch I did during work.
With this one, I like more how it looked before I started to detail it.
I ended up liking it, in the end it helped me to understand better where to put shadows and highligts
