Would you give us some pointers about bakhoor scents ? 😂 I’ve tried looking for something sweet and a little bit heady (like sandalwood is to me) but there’s a lot of choice ! Are there most popular choices/“fragrances”/must-haves you’d be willing to share ?

Well it depends on where you would like to buy it from, if its from the UAE, you can find some on Boksha.com , the most liked bakhoors there are Gravity from Noora Fares, Seema Dokhoon from Naqsh designs, and Hindi Muri. Gravity smells a bit like J’adore Dior by the way!

If it’s from Africa (Niger/Nigeria/Chad/Sudan), then I highly recommend these two vendors : Yerwa Secrets and Dolce Sheriff, both are on instagram, and one will soon open her website!

From Dolce I recommend Kingi Hawii, it’s very soft and sweet, and Ashe, that one you can burn in your kitchen and bathroom, the scent will linger forever! + my little secret tip : I mix this incense with a few drops of the Gumsu perfume oil (from Dolce as well), just try it and see for yourself ;).
