Apples baked in a slow cooker are a comforting dessert that are great for any event. It's easy to make this tasty treat in your slow cooker with the warm spices and sweet filling.
Ingredients: 6 large apples, cored. 1/2 cup brown sugar. 1/4 cup granulated sugar. 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon. 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg. 1/4 cup chopped pecans. 1/4 cup raisins. 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted. 1 cup apple juice or cider.
Instructions: In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, pecans, and raisins. Stuff each cored apple with the sugar mixture, packing it down lightly. Place stuffed apples in the slow cooker. Drizzle melted butter over the apples. Pour apple juice or cider around the apples in the slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or until apples are tender. Serve warm, spooning juices from the slow cooker over the baked apples.
