Pilates Instructor, Hormone Expert and Founder of Align Your Cycle, Bailey Brown, Hosts A Pinterest-Perfect Event in New York City
Pinterest-perfect would be an understatement when describing the event hosted by pilates expert Bailey Brown, this past November 15th in New York City. Bailey Brown is the founder of Align, a pilates fitness program with a revolutionary approach. Align Your Cycle is a program that guides women through a series of workouts and nutritional guidance based on the menstrual cycle phases. This groundbreaking approach is transforming the long-established fitness industry—which, until now, has been designed to only cater to men’s bodies.

Beyonce
To create the singer’s curly wet bob, her longtime hairstylist Kim Kimble applied Pantene Pro-V Curly No Crunch Curls Whip Moisturizer + Styler to the star’s just-washed, wet hair. Then she spritz Pantene Advanced + Keratin Repair KeraGloss Oil Mist. (source E! News)

The singer’s makeup artist Lorrie Turk first applied MAC Paintpot in Clearwater all over the star’s eyelids followed by Kevyn Aucoin shadow in Cool Smoke. Then she added a bit of blue by using Trish McEvoy gel eyeliner in Arabian Nights. The final touch? A few coats of Armani Eyes to Kill mascara. (source E! News)

Kendrick’s hair inspiration was another Hollywood icon: Veronica Lake. Celebrity Hairstylist Craig Gangi first blow dried the actress’ natural waves straight then thermal set her hair to create extra large curls, which he let cool before gentle brushing out and pinning to one side. He finished with a healthy misting of Garnier Fructis Style Extreme Control Anti-Humidity Hairspray. Anna’s makeup, although minimal, featured a mix of metallic eye shadows: Maybelline New York Eye Studio Tattoo Metal in Barely Branded and Bad to the Bronze. Her lip was a light coat of Maybelline New York Color Elixir Lip Color in Rose Redefined. (source E! News)
Miranda Lambert
Power Primper Christina Farrell, The Makeup Blogger, highlighted this look on her blog. Here’s Miranda’s fabulous makeup artist Terri Apanasewicz step-by-step on how to get Miranda’s Red Carpet Look:
FACE:
I prepped Miranda’s skin with Olay’s New Regenerist Luminous Tone Perfecting Cream
Applied Makeup Forever HD foundation
Used Amazing Concealer to highlight under the eyes
Set with Amazing Cosmetics Powderset
With a beveled blush brush I applied YSL Cream blush in Audacious Orange to the apple of the cheek.
EYES:
For her eyes I used MAC Brownluxe shadow palette, the bronze color over the entire lid adding the gold to the inner corner of the lid.
I used the dark brown to defining the crease of the eye. Using the bronze color again underneath the bottom lashes.
Added false lashes and mascara
LIPS:
Then I finished off Miranda’s “Old Hollywood Glamour” look with Stila’s long wear lip pencil in Passionate and topped it off with Tarte’s LipSurgence in Lust

Katy Perry
Christina showed this look on her blog as well (view it here). Here’s how to get Katy Perry’s Makeup at the Grammys by her makeup artist, Jake Bailey.
SKIN:
I started by prepping her skin with Olay’s new Regenerist Luminous Tone Perfecting Cream. This is perfect to use under makeup as it delivers lots of moisture but still feels lightweight and foundation glides smoothly over it.
Once the moisturizer had absorbed, I got to work on the skin. Since we were going for maximum “glow” I mixed equal parts COVERGIRL BB cream and COVERGIRL TruBLEND Liquid Foundation on the back of my palm before buffing it all over her face and neck with a soft brush for sheer coverage and a polished glow.
EYES:
I started the eye look by painting a delicate line onto her lashline and a subtle “cat eye” wing in the outer corners of her eyes using COVERGIRL Bombshell Liquid Liner.
I then coated her lashes with Bombshell Volume Mascara, top and bottom. I used the first coat to get that volumized look and then applied the second coat for the intense jet black wet lash look.
I then applied Bombshell Shine Shadow in Gold Goddess into the crease of her eyelid and highlighted her lids and browbones with Flamed Out Shadow in Blazing White.
I finished the eye look with a strong brow and a coat of clear mascara to hold them in place.
CHEEKS:
Once I finished with the eyes, I warmed and highlighted her complexion using COVERGIRL TruMAGIC Sunkisser and Luminizer. I blended the Sunkisser along the hairline and into the hollows of the cheeks to add warmth and dimension.
I then took the Luminizer and used it to add a golden glow to her cheekbones, tip of her nose and just above the cupids bow of her lips.
Once I set the makeup with COVERGIRL + Olay Pressed Powder, I dusted a little bit of shimmery coral blush on the apples of her cheeks.
LIPS:
I finished the look with a fresh coral/pink shade called “Heavenly” from the COVERGIRL LipPerfection collection and tipped it with a touch of balm for extra shine.
