starting off pride with some badovenus :)

ever since badobarm started working under bad badtzmaru, there wasnt a day he didnt write something to his lord, a report of the day (maybe two or three), an update on projects, work related paperwork. so it really wasnt surprising when even in his lords birthday, the man was working himself to the very bone

besides overthinking the possible scenarios regarding the planning for the party, overlooking the still developing kingdom wasnt an easy task at all either. not only that, but the ever looming presence of the seeds had him in high alert

as such, he couldnt slack off in anything, be it for badtzmaru, the kingdom, or the citizens who trust him

at least thats what his mind tells him

to make matters harder, organizing things with the rowdy and energetic knights who were way too eager to celebrate the lords birthday proved to be quite the task on top of the already packed schedule badobarm seemed to have

while the enthusiasm is much appreciated, it doesnt change the fact that it takes effort beyond the usual amount from badobarm to coordinate them into working instead of creating a mess he would have to clean up later

the appearance of seeds close to the event location was bad, but nothing he couldnt deal alone, regardless of the others trying to help. only badobarm could banish them after all

though they were small enough he could take care of them, their sheer numbers took a toll on the already tired fragaria. with that out of the way, badobarm goes back to the party still wary for any signs of problems

thankfully, the day finished without a hitch. the next day however seemed to prove itself difficult

paperwork from yesterday was bound to be plentiful. besides the everyday report, the seeds, after party clean up, and present organization all had to be done by the end of the day. as such, he came bright and early to his office, ready to work

that proved to be quite the task. his lord was nowhere to be found, and the other knights were avoiding him. not to mention tama was hiding something from him, staying behind to 'help the knights train'

all he can hope for is for today to be peaceful as he does his usual rounds around the city. though as soon as he thinks that, your figure comes barreling straight into his body. had he not known your antics the both of you would be on the ground by now. holding you firmly against him he barely makes a sound, already used to your ways, a soft smile makes its way to his face

"bado! look! since you worked so hard yesterday i made this flower crown for you"

presenting to him your creation you realize that it is slightly crumpled from your rough handling "ah."

his laughter breaks you from your thoughts as he takes your hands and make them place the flower crown on his head. looking over at you he asks "how do i look?" "...very pretty! the cutest!"

his face slowly turns red until he cant handle any more "ok ok i get it! so, what are you doing around here?" his attempts at changing the topic are succesful as you start to ramble "you see! since its your birthday i decided to go all out and help the other knights with the surprise party by distracting you, so we are going to go out and eat some sushi to kill time and--"

as if realizing you had said too much you stop dead on your track, avoiding eye contact like that would fix your previous mistake

"...surprise party huh?"

his chuckles only make you more distressed over the matter, looking pleadingly in his way "t-thats..! pretend you didnt hear that!"

Yall don’t realize how freaky I almost acted out when I realized how he pretty like this as a human-
