He was gonna kill Geode for warning the clans about him, 'cause snitches sleep in ditches, which was how Geode predicted he'd die but Badgertuft changed fate by protecting him and killing Thunder's Rage Tigerstar style. Just gutted the man with one paw holding him down and the other cutting him open!

They do! But it's not for a long time as Geode refuses to pass on his burden, but a cat who I will not name yet does convince him to make them the new moonstone prophet so Geode is finally able to rest and when he sees that Badgertuft has really waited all this time for him he just crumbles. He knew Badgertuft loved him but to wait hundreds of years and the idea that it was Geode's fault he had to wait so long, it's just a very emotional reunion.

What can you tell us about the cat waiting for Geode???
That cat is Geode's mate! His name was Badgertuft. He never thought Geode was crazy and always believed in his omens and predictions, he loved Geode deeply and did everything in his power to make sure the future Geode saw happened! Badgertuft was very dedicated to Geode and would lie with him and groom his fur for him when his migraines incapacitated him.
When Badgertuft died, he sat at the border and wouldn't budge. He's been waiting for centuries, and he'll keep waiting till he can be beside Geode again. Geode has nooo idea Badgertuft is still there!
