I'm a huge "criminal minds" fan so this book obviously spoke my language. So if you like "criminal minds" and you think about reading this book: YOU SHOULD! The vibes are the same, the whole world has the same feeling and the agents are as if they were written out of the show. I really really enjoyed it.
Even though I found out the identity of the killer pretty early in the book (maybe i should think about a career in profiling) i still had a lot of fun reading the book without getting bored.
If you haven't read the book yet: Please don't continue reading this blog entry -> SPOILER WARNING
I do have to admit though that the teenagers got on my nerves at some point but i fought through it!
Lia is my personal hell. I don't understand her problem, and the feud with Cassie is really unnecessary and damn annoying.
Micheal just gives me the "rich-kid" ick honestly. I just can't stand him idk..
Cassie has it bad with a very developed main-character syndrome.. Girl I liked you in the beginning! This huge drama about your moms death? Girl every single one of you had a traumatic experience. You aren't special.
Dean and Sloane were the only ones that didn't get on my nerves and who I didn't wish death upon.
Also this book unlocked a new book-crush: Agent Lacey Locke, if you read this: Marry me? 💍🔪
In my head she is not dead. She got away, changed her name again and lives in peace somewhere outside the states in a small town where the FBI will never find her.
I know she's the bad one but we all have our flaws right? 🫣
And honestly: She was one of the only interesting characters in the book, sorry not sorry. (Besides Dean - love his background. I really look forward to read about it in Book 2)
