Thereās this irl couple from TV who have a special way of saying I love you to each other, they form an L with their fingers and touch their nose, and I think itās so goddamn cute
And then I thought about ZaDr and now Iām dying thinking about Dib doing this to bully Zim because Zim doesnāt have a fucking nose. Just, gloating that he has a nose while also saying I love you, and Zim hating every second of it
Complaining - romanogers
Romanogers hospital scene in CATWS as a fix it of sorts but i'm pretending it happened.
So err I can't write smut cause it just doesn't work so this is the before, and if anyone wants to write the actual smut they can...
Steve was looking at the empty vending machine. Damn. It was gone. What was he going to do now?
Footsteps came and stopped over his left shoulder. A redhead blew a bubble of obnoxiously pink gum. Natasha. Nat.
She took it.
He turned around keeping eye contact with an unknown. A few tense seconds of no blinking before she shifted and her mouth curved into an imitation of a smirk.
She knew something.
Steve looked around before pushing her into an empty room, nudging the door closed half-heartedly, to preoccupied to care.
She looked smug - shocked - intrigued - smirking - defensive as she hit the wall.
'Where is it' was growled out of a tense Steve.
'Safe'
'Do better'
'Where did you get it?'
'Why would I tell you?'
'Fury gave it to you. Why?'
'What's on it?'
'I don't know.'
'Stop lying!'
He tightened his hold on her upper arms.
'I only act like I know everything, Rogers' she replied accusingly.
'I bet you knew Fury hired the pirates, didn't you?'
'Well, it makes sense.' She made it sound obvious 'The ship was dirty, Fury needed a way in, so do you.'
'I'm not gonna ask you again'
She thought about what she could say and decided to go with it, 'I know who killed Fury. Most of the intelligence community doesn't believe he exists, the ones who do call him the Winter Soldier. He's credited with over two dozen assassinations in the last fifty years.' She ended it rater dramatically.
'So he's a ghost story' He looked unsure.
'I've tried to go after him. Like you said he's a ghost story.'
He pressed closer, brows furrowed, searching her face for lies.
'That was rather forward, and you still have me pinned against a wall.'
She lowered her voice a few octaves and it came out huskier. Her back arched slightly as she lengthened her neck.
'Your face is inches away from mine...'
His grip loosened as her right hand made its way to his chest.
She leant forward directing her face to his ear
'Your thigh is also very firmly between my legs and quite high up,' she breathed.
As she returned her head to the wall, maintaining new eye contact along the slow path, he seemed to consider his options.
In no time at all her hands were pinned above her head in one of Steve's. Both of her legs were parted by his. The other hand had raised one of her legs to rest it over his hip with his palm firmly under her upper thigh, fingers oh so close to her warmth.
He leaned in to her ear, mirroring het earlier action.
'This' he punctuated with a slight roll of hips 'is forward, doll'
A gasp halfway to keening was the last thing she exhaled before he closed in, trapping her in a cage of animal heat and desire.
Well, she hadn't expexted him to be this forward, but then again, she thought with a moan as he lifted her up pushing her further into the wall, she wasn't exactly complaining.
Soooooo... thoughts?
(I copied the main dialogue from the movie and it belongs to marvel.)
Listen up, hearing people.
Can parents out there teach their hearing children not to mock or make fun of deaf voices/accents? It can affect deaf kids for life and discourage those who would like to be oral from working on language skills.
Personally, I have never really been oral (Iāve found the majority of profoundly deaf people arenāt)
Reactions to my laugh and the small things I tried to vocalize as a kid have definitely stuck with me and influenced the way I choose to communicate. It took me years to build up the confidence to even introduce myself to others using my voice (and that is not unusual for deaf young people that were mocked or shushed as children for sounding different.)
Basically, donāt be an asshole and remember to respect the autonomy of deaf kids. Encourage them to talk if theyād like or respect their decision not to.
(This isnāt exclusive to children, either! Adults, take note)
āI encourage hearing people to reblogā
why does longing hurt so much
i can feel it pulling at my heart, like a compass drawn to them.

Ughughughuhgh this hurts so much. Iāve been in so much pain recently and going to the chiropractor hasnāt been working and Iāve tried physical therapy and I know there are still a lot of options of where to go from here, but these were the two best options and if these didnāt work I doubt anything else will :( I donāt know much about what surgery would be like, but I think I remember my doctor saying that it could be dangerous but like what else am I supposed to doā¦?
One task that has been particularly hard for me is showering. Not only does it require a lot of physical labor, but it also requires me to stand for a long time. Iāve tried asking my mom for a shower stool, but sheās refused. She thinks that standing for long periods of time will make me stronger and build my endurance, but all it does is put me in a lot of pain.
Iāve been getting a lot of pre-shower anxiety. I doubt Iām alone in this, but I never see any fellow chronic painers and spooners talking about it. I know itās normal to have anxiety when you know something is going to cause you pain (like anxiety about surgery or vaccines, or whatever), but when that thing is a daily task⦠idk it just feels so heartbreaking. Like wdym I have to deal w/ that every afternoon? Itās just not fair.
I also experienced post-shower every crashes so bad that I can barely get dressed or brush my teeth (I kinda have to brush my teeth, but Iāve begun just sleeping naked to avoid wasting energy on getting dressed). I used to be able to play on my computer until my bedtime but now I have to lay down in my bed on my phone.
Iām so tired and Iām in so much pain and I swear I try so hard but my mom thinks Iām not trying but I really am. Itās so hard to get out of bed and even sitting up puts me in so much pain.
Also I hate the cold so much. Itās started to get warmer here, but evertime I shiver it feels like so much wasted energy.
My anti-depressant have stopped working recently and I donāt know why. I canāt even tell if I feel better when Iām on or off them. I have an appointment to get a prescription in 2 days tho ig.,
I feel so scared that I wonāt be able to go to college or even get a job. Just when I think āhey, maybe this is actually possible for me,ā I get worse. I canāt go to college when I would be this unpredictable. I donāt even know what I could possibly do as a job. Are there even any good online jobs I can do from home? Could they pay for me to live independently? Iām so scared I want to be able to live an independent normal life, I really do.
