Pinball backglass for Gottlieb's Gemini (1978)
Ultraman Kaiju Rumble, Spooky Pinball, 2021
Illustration of Ultraman standing in the middle of the screen — we can only see him from the waist up because some giant lizard’s tail is blocking our view. Wait, there is a small sliver of knee. Ultraman is holding one leg up, and crossing his arms at the wrists and using some kind of white energy bolt to fire at the lizard, who is in turn firing white fire above Ultraman’s head. There’s another lizard to the back left, some kind of wasp over Ultraman’s left shoulder (to the right), a plane in flight behind that, and then something shooting yellow fire in the top right corner. A rhino-man(?) sneers over the edge of a building where a bunch of either humans or lilliputians shoot at rhino-man from the roof.
There’s a large video screen directly below the backglass image, which shows video clips and other interesting things during the game.
Pinball backglass art from the 1960s and 70s by Grant Morison and Christian Marche (4).
