Found this old clip of me when I first got into tricking. This is probably 1998 and I was in a weird transitional period where I was starting to train with the Ernie Reyes' West Coast "Next Generation" demo team guys, but I would also occasionally go back to my original karate school and train. My original school here, called East-West Kung-Fu, was not as open to tricking, so I eventually had to transition away and I went full-on into tricking mode and hanging with the Ernie Reyes' "Next Generation" people. But I still have love for my original school because their training helped lay the foundation for me getting into tricking later. --Kelly Magovern

I’m not exactly young anymore, but check it out! I took a tumbling class last night for fun and turns out I can do a back handspring! Old dog, new tricks 🤣
